Due 2 numerous request on and offline, i've deceided 2 take out my time 2 make a simple sketch of the basic setup of Gionee Pioneer P2. Same method implies 2 other brands(Tecno L3, M3, N3, P5 etc)
When u turn on phone 4 the 1st time u have 2 launchers installed(Default & Go launcher) "4 Tecno P2 only"
If u wish 2 use another launcher do the ff....
*Go 2 settings>Storage>Preferred Installation>Select Phone.
*Now go back and install ur launcher
*Select Open and activate the launcher
*Press the home button and u'll see an option 2 select ur prefered launcher.
*Select ur launcher and click on always
*If u wish 2 siwtch launchers, click ONCE instead of ALWAYS.
*No go back 2 preferred installation and switch back 2 SD card.

BASIC SETTINGS
*Go 2 settings
*Developer options and tick the box u see there.

DISABLE TOUCH HEPTIC FEEDBACK
*Disable the heptic feedback 2 save bat3
*Go 2 settings
*Sound
*Untick the boxes u see there.

DISABLE TYPING HEPTIC FEEDBACK
*Go 2 settings
*Language and Input
*Android Keyboard
*Click on the settings icon
*Untick options shown on the pic.

SELECT NETWORK MODE
*Go 2 settings
*Network
*Network mode
*Am using single sim, MTN only. *Select the network name. 1st option is Auto(2G and 3G+)
2nd option is "3G+ Only"
3rd option is 2G only 2 save battery.

SELECT PREFERRED INSTALL OPTION *Go 2 setting
*Storage
*Tick the option as shown in the pic
*Select either
[Phone]
[SD card]
[LET THE SYETEM DECIDE]
*In my case, i choosed SD but sumtyms, i select Phone pending on an app i want 2 dwnld. Some apps work fine when installed on Phone.
*Select SD card again as ur default intallation slot.

Stancity: This phone is available in almost all the shops at Aba abia state but white colour tru out with price ranging from 13,500-16000. I prefer the black colour thats why i didnt secure one today. Can i get the black colour anywhere in the east. Help me out..

APP/NOTIFICATION DRAWER
*Swipe down the app drawer with 2 fingers to view quick settings toggle menu
*swipe down with 1 finger to view notification menu.

LAUNCHERS
There are many launchers available for our android devices.
Choosing of launchers is based on personal preference and experience.
My 3 favourite launchers are
1. NEXT 3D LAUNCHER
2. GO LAUNCHER
3. NOVA LAUNCHER
In order of preference.

*I LOVE NEXT 3D due 2 its intuitive and stunning display. Gives me a full 3D experience.
*GO launcher for its slight 3D interface and wide range of widgets and lockers.
*NOVA launcher for its simplicity, smoothness and classic experience.

So far, iv been installing NEXT 3D for anybody who request for a launcher 4rm me.
Some dnt even know about it but they fall in LOVE with it on 1st site.

LAG?
I've not experience any lag on GP2. Some people complain of lag especially after installing NEXT 3D on their P2, well, u just need 2 follow my 1st instruction on how/where 2 install the launcher and u'll experience lag free interface.
But if u are using Go laucher or the default launcher and u want 2 try out this process, u'll hav 2 reset ur phone!!!
PS: i discovered Gionee P2 can run 2 launchers simultaneously, this may be the cause of lag u experience occasionally.
So far, NO LAG even Fifa 14 plays flawlessly.

not only cheaper sha, when you buy a gionee phone you buy an original device no some rebranded phone.

bro I installed Fifa 14 on Gp2 and it crashed. while loading. same thing on a friend's dream D1 while d game ran smoothly on a friend's galaxy s4. pls how did u make yours to work flawlessly?
