Govornor Fayemi must be a useless and classless govornor to have dashed out cars to traditional king's men. I wonder why our leaders always try to secure their offices by buying their people cheaply!

Do Ekiti people have good motorable roads these cars can be driven on? Assuming it was college lecturers or hard working civil servants he dashed out cars to that will be more commendable.

But rather went on a dashing rampage to traditional oppressors that carries out fetish rituals to secure his coming back... that's madness! Are the Ekiti lecturers and the civil servants being paid? Have the state paid the pensioners? How many factories in the state are working and generating money? He's going around dashing out cars.

Until Nigerians wakeup and totally reject, and question the merit of our rulers, this madness of chop chop goverment won't stop. Hard working technocrats of the state are totally ignored and be treated like slaves and never honored. But criminals and political nincompoop are highly honored. It's a shame. Nigeria, home of the thieves!

HNosegbe:

One thing about Nigeria I don't understand is the incessant purchase of vehicles for traditional rulers. What about the ones purchased earlier?

Please can someone explain what traditional rulers need Jeeps and a Hilux truck for?
i wonder o! do they have any oversight service and they keep having kingdoms every minute in these yoruba states, and as such a king. He being paid, bought cars, give royalties, its too much 4 them.

Please provide security to all and sundry irrespective of religious affiliation.

If there's intelligence stating attacks are being anticipated which are of a religious nature, have a definite plan of action ready.

And last but not least, warn the churches, which is what you're doing now, but it MUST be backed up by a show of force in the event there is a breakdown of law and order for whatever reason. Dont just "warn" then sit back and wait for whoever to start some crap.

Boko haram ( of whatever denomination) must not rear its head in the south or there will be a reckoning.

This is good , if you don't respect yours, nobody will. The British Govt in 2009 spent about 40 million pound sterling on their royals and budgeted to spend about 33 million pounds this year alone. I don't think the Queeen does much work in the Govt.

this just sucks! this is the most wasteful governor in Nigeria! Spending money lavishly trying to reap where he did not sow. After deducting millions from peoples salary, and almost rendering the University administration invalid, he s now buying 101 cars and 22 jeeps!

fayemi, i cant wait to see you be disgraced in 2014. Except u rig that election. in the end u too will disappear and become irrelevant, just like every other politician who has stolen money that doesnt belong to them.

While I'm against the royal family I will say that the British totals are a tourism industry on their own. They bring in visitors from all over the world. In Nigeria it's nothing more than a bribe. Also, Nigeria is a poor country that relies a lot on foreign aid.
