The Lagos Govt in a bid to ease the burden of rent/lease of houses for Lagosians stopped landlords/house owners from collecting 2 years rent except in some places.

What is wrong with Real Estate Agents (cos joblessness as now turned many people to agents in Lagos) making them demand agency fees on 2 yrs rent while you are only paying the landlord 1 year rent?

By the time you add the Caution fee to the Agency and Legal fees, you are paying almost 50% of a year's rent plus the rent.

Should we start crying out to our legislators to legislate against this practice before these agents/landlord fraud is stopped? What in God's name warrant you to collect Agency fee of 2yrs from a payment made for 1year? Plus you will ask for recharge cards, transport money, soft drinks and pure water for inspection....

Are you waiting for Fasola to outlaw and ban this agent business before you all come to your senses? Go and ask the Okada riders. The politicians are already milking people dry, why add to the burdens of your fellow man....think pls.
