Russian hotels will have Biblesin each room
Russia joins the European and world traditions according to which hotel guests have the opportunity to read the Bible in theirrooms, reports the Christian Telegraph invictory.comin reference to ITAR-TASS.
On August 9th, the first 6,000 copies of the New Testament and Psalms will be transferred to one of the largest hotels in Moscow “Izmailovo,” reports ITAR-TASS citingthe New Department of the Russian OrthodoxChurch.
This charity event is supported by the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management of the Moscow Government andthe Commission with the Diocesan MissionaryCouncil of the capital.
“Actually, in every European hotel guests can find Bibles in the rooms. The Gospel is a bookthat has become the foundation of European culture, it is an essential feature of the respectful and hospitable attitude towards guests, as well as an indicator of the culture level of the owners of hotels,” said the chairman of the commission missionary hieromonk Dimitriy Pershin
