Each regime builds upon the success of the office it occupies. What success did Orji Uzor Kalu left for Theodore Orji to build on? Apparently none! You can't tell me these communities and roads in these pictures were far better than these and were drivable and the grass and bushes were manicured and the houses had fresh paints and drainage was efficient during the regime of Kalu. |

The Gov has done pretty well in the area of security, Energy distribution, primary and tertiary healthcare, development of human capital through various youth empowerment Programmes, infrastructural development...New essential structures like the workers secretariat, International Conference centre, remodeling of Abia hotels to boost the hospitality and tourism industry, the new high court buildings Umuahia and Aba...the more decent court houses the more judges the more jobs, the new Abia State library headquarters to boost learning and research, the Abia State Specialist and Diagnostic Hospital commended as the best in the entire south east and south south region, the new eye and dialysis centre in Umuahia, the new industrial market Umuahia and Umuahia Modern market to boost commerce and industry also to decongest the Umuahia city centre, the new motor Spare Parts and Mechanic Village at Ohiya Umuahia to create sanity and enhance environmental decency in Umuahia city centre, the new govt house Govt house currently situated in a private and rented property. A functioning skill acquisition centre training about 5000 youths currently. A new broadcasting House (BCA) building, a new JAAC, ASUBEB and Chieftancy affairs complex in Umuahia, A newly built ministry of Justice building in Umuahia, about 250 primary health care centres across the state, partnering with World bank to build Community Social Development program projects as demanded by communities in Abia State, A new House of Assembly Administrative and constituency complex within the HOA premises. A new ASEPA building, ASEPA is currently occupying a rented building, built &commissioned the Amaokwe housing Estate in Umuahia, Isieke, Amaudo and Aso small and medium income housing estates are currently ongoing in Umuahia, massive investment in the environmental sector...Opening up drains in Aba & Umuahia, provision of refuse dump equipment & Trucks etc. The govt has built numerous rural and urban roads in Isukwuato, Ohafia, Bende Umunneochi, Umuahia, Ikwu ano, Isi ala Ngwa etc including the 17 major Aba city roads recently embarked upon...Brass, Milverton, Ngwa Road, Faulks Road, Geometric, Ama Ogbonna, etc. All these are verifiable in addition to massive investment on security of lives and property. ABSG invested over 1.5 billion to evacuate power (electricity) from the Ohiya sub power station after the federal govt built but abandoned it. Power supply has improved in Umuahia and environs leading to massive boost in the small and medium scale enterprises sector. Umuahia, the capital city doesn't get dark at night as a result of the massive investment on street light project. Remember security globally requires huge investment and for Abia State to be known currently as a safe zone, massive investment is being invested to sustain the achievement made so far on security. All these and many more doesn't stop Abia State from having her challenges as a State but the good news is that those developmental challenges are being tackled with the funds available to the State without borrowing. Thank you! |

I will tell you this: the Legacy Projects of Ochendo (Gov T.A. Orji) are uncountable, but let me mention a few. Look at the Abia State Workers Secretariat, International Conference Centre (only the Abuja International Conference Centre is bigger than this one in Nigeria), New Government House, New Umuahia International Market at Ubani-Ibeku, New Timbers market at Isi-Eke, New Mechanic and Artisan Village at Ohiya, various Housing Estates throughout Abia State, the More than 200 Health Centres in every nook and cranny of Abia State, beautiful, Strong and well constructed roads with drainages, New High Court Buildings and Ministry of Justice office Complexes, New Office Complex for Broadcasting Corporation of Abia State with digital and modern equipments and studios, the Abia State Diagnosis Centre, the Abia State Dialysis Centre and the Eye Centre (all in Aba, Umuahia and Amachara), etc. The record is self evident.

Like you said before, only the Revenue collection organ of the government of T.A Orji that works. I fear driving out some times, even though I have all complete papers and have not committed any infractions...... I just fear seeing all those touts along Aba-Owerri road up to Factory road continuing from Park, up to Portharcourt road. Moreover these revenue collected move around with police and Army, so any form of resistance will get you some serious beatings. |

I hate when people go to this extent all in the name to undermine government efforts. It's too bad really but one thing is that the ABia state government has done well in constructing over 16 roads in ABa in the past one year +. Why are we not being appreciative of govt efforts to enable it do more. This is crazy. OgeJesus: Abia Government has constructed alot of roads in Aba The same person with different usernames with the same picture. Go to faulks road and you will cry for Aba. The almighty Ariaria International Market is without any access road. Omenazu junction is very bad while ukwu mango is an erosion site. These two places are the legacy works of Ochendo. I wonder if this man has conscience at all!!! Aba is a mess!!! |

My question to you Aba people is how many threads will you open? Everyday someone comes up with picture of one bad road or the other but I remember how we all argued it out prior to 2011 elections and all of you went to sleep hoping for a miracle. Anambra is about entering the same path with this Obiano of a man who has no records. They've removed Soludo with wayo and are using ethnic propaganda agaist the only other competent candidate Ngige then the next is employing the "Offa miracle" and eureka! a bad leader will be born. Afterwards you'll blame a man who cannot give what he doesn't have even when you had the options to resist him. |

T.A orji has reconstructed the seemingly intractable Osisioma Deport Road. In his wisdom, he encouraged Prof.Barth Nnaji to keep alive his geometric power station dream by providing access roads and other infrastructure. T.A also summoned courage to open up the famous school road drainage. I did not forget how overzealous trader that filled the Aba environ occupied the drainage systems and built shops on them. That was the constitutor of the failure of most roads I have heard people cry of few road in Aba that are not good but if we can give heed to the government calls for a proper utility of facilities as they will help us to maintain a healthy environment. T.A has made concerted effort to rescue Aba . Taken a smooth ride to Water side University of Nigeria Institute of Languages .That long stretch of road ,reconstructed by T.A shows how much of a leader he is .At Milverton .i saw how he offered Luxurious bus owners and transporters long lease of life. The Milverton Road is an achievement .I could remember some time ago that the bad condition of that road made most transporters to withdraw their services from Aba.The consequences was most commuters; especially the predominant Aba business class had only limited choices. Take a long stretch to Azikiwe Road you will discover there is no port holes where Azikiwe to Asa road used to be traffic den owning to the gullies that dotted the entire road .Speaking about Ukwu Mango road, it’s been reconstructed yet I hear a few say it’s been neglected, but this to me is a blind argument about that road. We know what people suffered within the area of Aba for well over thirty years, but the rescue operation he carried out face-lifted the entire Aba area to a greater good for the people. Over 220 Primary Health Centres and the on-going youth empowerment which T.A initiated and is still in progress may be for another, and above all I feel I owe a lot to you by your rare exhibition of love for your people. You have voted to reduce poverty among the citizens of Abia State ,i can only ask for a more fruitful years ahead of you, and long life.

asha 80: you are being mishievious by saying obiano has no records...we are not happy about what happened to soludo but that does not mean we should lie. I've tried but I'm yet to see any. Maybe I need more enlightenment on him other than being a director of Fidelity Bank. Ngige is tested and trusted and so is Soludo. Why would you leave something you are sure of and go for something you don't know? Well I read this comment from an Abia man and almost shed tears too. I am writing this with tears in my eyes! This is a sad day for ABIA STATE! Just look at the this hapless election, By the way who is saying the election was free and fair? T.A Orji locked out all the opposition using Federal troops in Abia State to intimidate voters. I cant believe my eyes where after casting our vote in my polling center and about to be counted, 5 millitary men drove in and carried the ballot box away in ward 5 in Mbutu Village Osisoma Ngwa. Same thing happened in virtually every polling booth in Ngwa Land where APGA had its strong hold. Can you imagine that T.A Orji went as far as locking up the Amighty B.B Apugo in a house who has been against his candidature? In short Abia is a doomed State. Fellow Nigerians, please this is a serious matter. Dont luagh at us Abians. |
