I have a slight phobia for imported fruits. I indulge occasionally when i'm hyper-hungry or longa-throaty. grin
My phobia is as a result of the following;

1. Since these fruits don't grow in our climate, i feel its nature's way of saying; "Its not for you,don't eat". But technology has made transportation/import very fast.

2. I once watched a documentary about fruit exportation. I was frightened to know that some of these fruits are picked unripe, gased (to ripen them), packaged and exported.

3. I sometimes experience slight stomach aches after eating apples for example. So are imported fruits really safe?
