Psalm 1 As A Business Principle (2) by SonofIssachar: 12:07am On Sep 03, 2013

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
– Psalm 1:1-3

The passage also says the blessed man does not stand in the path of sinners. That is to say, he does not follow the path that sinners take and does not indulge in habits that sinners enjoy. A Psalm 1 businessperson does not get involved in a business that is common among sinners; he/she avoids any business whose operations thrive through sinful practices or whose survival and profitability can only be guaranteed by orgies of sin.

A Psalm 1 businessperson avoids going into such businesses, no matter how lucrative it is or how popular it may be in his environment. Because a Psalm 1 businessperson fears God, he/she eschews sins and other indulgences that may irk God. This his/her consciousness of God helps him/her to make critical and everyday decisions that affect life, career, business, and other social relationships.

A Psalm 1 businessperson does not stand in the path of sinners, so he/she avoids a business line that sinners loves to practise, neither does he/she make or market products that promote sin and rankle against the will of God.

You will succeed in Jesus Name!
