Help!!! Immoderate Pos Bank Charge - Keystone Bank by sammily(m): 4:01pm On Sep 04, 2013
I operate a current account with Keystone bank, I got a message from them a while ago of a debit of more than N10,000 for POS charges for August. I am so shocked to be debited such a huge amount, though I made some purchases using the POS (I stay in Lagos) but nothing out of the ordinary. I was also charged the usual COT for the month of August. I also operate a savings account with GTB and I do make POS payments with the account and has never been charged for using POS, at least to my knowledge. I am seriously pissed now and I feel like bursting into any Keystone branch and demand for an explanation but my work wouldn't permit me.

I will like to know if this is normal for all other banks because I'm seriously thinking of porting to another bank. It is a salary account, so would take a lot of process to change but I wouldn't mind if I don't get ripped off by this thief bank.

Thanks.
