Osun state governor, Rauf Aregbesola has said that the state government is planning to
introduce special rural posting allowance to
encourage its workforce to serve in the rural
areas. The Governor stated this today at the second edition of an interactive public feedback programme tagged “Gbangbadekun" which took place at Baptist Day School, Oke Ejigbo, Ila Orangun.

Aregbesola said as soon as the bill goes to the State House of Assembly and becomes law, workers from grade level 12 who want to get promotion will have to pass through the rural areas for at least three years.

He explained that 25% of their basic salary will be added to their take home pay as rural posting allowance to serve as encouragement. The Governor also promised to intervene in the boundary dispute between the people of Edemosi in Osun and the Okemesi community of Ekiti State.

Am begining to like this osun state governor he works silently, not the loud type of governors we have in nigeria.

Every single day Aregbesola keeps impressing me. His personality seems to be totally different from the way his haters painted him when he became governor.
