What can we say? Kidnapping is now a national phenomenon. The bishop was probably in a Toyota jeep. He will be released in good health after money changes hand or some miraculous intervention. |

Security does not begin and end with policing. Security also encompasses social security, job creation, poverty reduction and law enforcement. So for every kidnapp cases, while we blame the security agencies, the FG and state govt also share substantial part of the blame. 11 Likes |

chai if not because of the Mtn network in my hood that is Fucking slow i would have being among of the top 3 to comment. I will not give up b'cause i believe one day i will realize my dream. God they sha. Hmmm back to the gist, Oh God why must it be the poor that alway feels the impact whenever their is any wrong doing in Nigeria. Police will fire us, detain us, illegally send us to jail and torture us. The goverment will tax us reduce subsidy and enact policy that do not favour us. We pay tithe as usual to ensure the development of our church but we cant afford to send our children to the schools established by our church due to the high charges involved. The kidnappers have succeed in kidnapping the man of God and the only alternative for the church is to aggressively get more fund from its members which will be use to secure the release of the man of God. Oh, Almighty ja, the Poor are confused and dont know who to rescue us because we are indirectly and directly making the wealthy (politicians, pastors, kidnappers etc) wealthier while we the poor are getting poorer by the day. Just port us out of poverty.... But if porting out of poverty means confronting you one on one. Just lock up i will manage the situation till the day it get to my turn to leave these wicked world. |

Political kidnapping. It's so unfortunate that security in this country is so loose, too many criminal acts prevail on daily basis. Those kidnappers no dey fear again o, if Christ still dey this world, dem for Kidnap am too sef, ask God for ransom. The person who reported this occurrence was busy telling us the archbishop's biography. |

i smell 3 things here....... 1) church nw is turning into a political game so i smell MUTINY... 2). Its a planned thing cus despite the insecurity challenges i dnt think kidnappers will just knw abt d archbishop without an insider giving info on Hz movements.. 3). It may be a plot to even assassinate him cuz according to d info he was with his wife but they abducted him alone.. |
