The Presidency: A Lonely Fellow by Nobody: 2:01pm On Sep 07, 2013
Most times we're quick to lay blames and point fingers at the presidency on any decision of policy that we seem not too cool with. Being the president of an organisation has opened my eyes to the loneliness associated to leadership especially being a president.
You're surrounded by a crowd of people, but still feels alone as you're not sure who among these crowd are friends or foe. Many cling to you not that they want to help your administration succeed in anyway but for what they can get from you. Many sycophants praising your every move just to be in your good book and favour. some shine teeth in your presence and appear as close friends but behind they call you fool.some for selfish reasons give advise that they know will put you in bad light. I know for sure that GEJ will have so many unfriendly friends in his cabinet who are only there for their "pockets"...... It's difficult to rule a country like Nigeria where everything you say or do is taking with a pinch of salt base on the dids of your predecessors without giving you the chance to prove yourself... I pity mr president because he has so many people eyeing his job that do everything in their power to get... It's only God will save us in this country.
