Face of Democracy Nigeria beauty pageant show is specially conceptualised to encourage and promote the Nigerian girl child and women participation in the growing democratic dispensation of Federal Republic of Nigeria, using entertainment, culture and tourism as a tool.
The show is encapsulated to give a face to the yearning of women participation in Nigeria's democratic system. To this end, Face Of Democracy Nigeria is designed to propergate the activities of the Nigeria democratic government among the Nigerian girl child, women and youth with a strategy to enhance the relentless effort of the government to ensure that women participation in democracy increases to 50% by the year 2020.

The show "Face of Democracy Nigeria" thereby showcases young female Nigerian from 18-26 years of age with a prudent and intelligent character to mobilize Nigerian youth and society to understand the indisputable role of women in democracy in other to achieve nation building.

Vision
The Vision of Face of Democracy Nigeria is to empower young ladies and women through democratic privilege and opportunity  to contribute to nation building 

Mission
1. To instigate and encourage the Nigeria girl child and women to take their place in the democratic dispensation of Nigeria.
2.To propergate the indisputable role of women in democracy in other to achieve nation building.
3. To give a face to the yearning of Nigerian women participation in democracy
4. To create awareness among Nigeria youth and women on the activities of good governace and effort of the government to ensure democratic consolidation
5. To compliment federal government effort to ensure 35% women on board in various political office.
6. To magnify and immortalize women of great achievement in the history of Nigeria and the world, present them to the youth as icon of change and role model to be emulated.
7.To reawaken the Nigerian girl child's consciousness in political pendulum
8.To propergate and organize awareness programme, seminars, conference etc, to empower and develop the Nigeria girl child/women to be effectively equipped and position for the development of democratic participation.
9.To work alongside with the office of the first lady for the federation on her project "women for change initiative" and playing the role of the Nigerian female youth mouth piece and information carrier to ensure grassroots involvement of women in politics
10.To partner with the UNDP project on empowering women in Nigeria to actively involved in the activities of government.

The national contest will have its first staging in November, 2013 at the Banquet Hall Of Aso Villa, Abuja with zonal editions to be conducted in Abuja, Lagos, Owerri, Jos and Calabar starting from October...
