I need information regarding how private land developer works. I have an old building occupying a plot in Amuwo, and a two plots in Ijegun, satellite town Lagos. I am planning on having one level building with 2 bedrooms flats 2 on each level for the Amuwo Land and 8 (2 bedrooms flats) on the 2 plots land in Satellite Town.

How does the contract works?
How many years does it usually takes before transfer back to original owner(s)?

Note: Tenants are already moving out as per lawyer's feedback.

I will seriously appreciate any feedback on this issue.
