What is church? Who is the church? Why is the church?
I stand 2 b corrected if i'm wrong about this. I mean no judgment, but we cant stand and watch all in d name of faith...there are questions i nid 2 ask, and i knw u've got some 2. Just like men grow in politics, so we find in d church 2day: Arc Bishops, Bishops, most Rev, Rev, Apostles, Evang. Pst etc. They build houses like politicians, fly jet, tour, shop like dem even, and claim dat even God is nt a poor God. We pay tithes and offrings 4rm whence comet d jets, universities, mansions, cars etc. But wat do we d members get at d recieving end? more blessings wen we pay more tithes even as jobless members in their church...They call on jobless graduates 2 sow dangerous seeds wen we hav no dine...dis is liken 2 man knw man job hunt dat demands mony b4 u get a job. And wen we decide 2 speak up, we ar restraind by -dnt judge a man of God- God is sure watchng us!Before I continue, dey shud not 4get d likes of the Apostle Paul, who were neva burden 2 the church but rather tru dem, the church grew 4rm strength 2 strength like we see in Corinth.
- But shud we continue to watch dem while dey feed fat on us?
- Shud we pay more tithe to dem all while jobless in the name that it is to God?
- Wat has been their contribution thus far to forestall unemployment rate?
- Is the gospel of God no longer concern wih our success?
- Must they tell us unemployment is end time signs while they grow fat frm offerings gifts and tithes?
- Are we so dumb to the gospel luv and riches, nw preached as fear and poverty 2 d common man?
- Must they fly in jets while there are unroofed churches in the village with som of their allies begging villagers 4 food?
- Must we attend their universities only on scholarship, claiming they are offering quality education?
- Is d quality education 4 d rich only, wen my 20 naira was involved during the foundation fund raising?
- Are they not using our money 2 train the politicians kid still?
- Are they part of our Problem or the solution?
- Cant we call their attention to this heinous act
- Do they think like Jesus at all?
- Will Jesus collect offering wen His followers hav notin 2 eat?
- Will Jesus not giv us fish before he ask for ours in return?
- Will he not feed us b4 he sends us away
- Hav u also asked hw many of their children liv and school here?
- Finally, are they really Christians?
I knw som microscopic few who has benefited from som sort will tru stones, I welcom u. But I think I’m tired of religious slavery while they use scriptures as clause and say we shud b careful wat we say....God is a friend, Father and a partner... he wont rebuke us frm telling our mind because he knws our mind beta. .. its time to ask ur pastor som question... where is the first lov?
