TOOLS NEEDED
1 a rooted tecno q1 phone
2 cwm recovery for tecno q1 download here http:///7RxDatSs
3 mobile uncle tools download here http:///mbvIiCrQ

now onto flashing clockworkmod
put d downloaded cwm for tecno q1 in the root of ur sd card(donot put it inside any folder)
install the mobile uncle tools in ur phone(ur phone must be rooted)
open the mobile uncle tool app and click on recovery update there u will see the cwm recovery for tecno q1 click on it and flash it . then reboot into recovery
CONGRATULATION U HAVE JUST FLASHED CWM ON UR TECNO Q1

stalled cwm....click yes then it will ask of the version manually installed click

Does the Pc recognize the phone? If it does not, then take the following steps or better still google: How to unbrick your Mediatek MT65xx. Just follow the steps. After that just flash a recovery for the phone.

it will just flash cwm recovery image to ur phone to replace d stock recovery that came with it

Backed up also bt when i tried to use rom mngr to partition my sd it was asking which version of clockwork mode that was installed.

IT IS VERSION 5.XX BUR THE ROM MANAGER APP WILL GIVE U OPTIONS OF VERSION 2.XX AND 3.XX ......SO CHOOSE 3.XX AS UR INSTALLED VERSION

pls oh....i just rooted my tecno q1 and i gone throu some procedures on how to go about cwm recovery....my question now is dat which rom in particular is compatible wit d q1 and how realiable it is? and if u r stil havin problem of bbm landscape issue.....call 07035106564

it means u have bricked ur phone ....n u did inot flash cwm on ur phone so as to have a backup for cases such as dis....my advice is either u take it to calcare or look for hw to flash cwm on it n look for smbody with same device n collect a backup of d rom

xplicity1: pls when i hav succesfully installed cwm nd hav backed up my rom if the phone mistakenly got bricked hw will go abt it.

u hold d volume down n power botton together dat is u go to cwm mode u will see restore backup option.... u scroll dwn using d volume buttons n u select using d power botton ......u select d restore backup option n choose ur backup n cwm will do d rest....simple as dis!!!!!
