Sometimes when you recall how bad the marriage of your parents has been,especially when it has had some negative influences on you,do you wish they never got married and in which case wouldn't have given birth to you. If you could turn back the hands of time,would you still consent to their marriage?

Some times a couple can't stand each other but stay together for the kids.
However, sometimes this turns out to be counter productive as everyone including the kids become miserable.

They become referees, are forced to take sides, have to settle fights, have to run to neighbours for help.

My advice, don't repeat the mistakes, you have your own lives they have theirs, each is accountable for their choices.

Don't carry their matter on your head, when it starts, take a walk or lock yourself in a room and read. Don't take sides, they are still both your parents and adults and their quarrel is not your quarrel.

Well i can only recall sweet memories of my lovely parents' marriage;so no need commenting.

I have never wished they are not married. I love my family and all that comes with it. Even though couples fight n all that, my parents never allowed us to know when they are fighting. They never showed it and u'll think their life is almost perfect but ofcourse its not and am blessed to be a fruit of that marriage.

I won't exist without them... Yeah I used to wish that when I was little but it's amazing what maturity ( both kids and parents) can do , there's no need to forcefully mash them back together but as long as they're both happy, healthy and are always there for you whenever you need them ( reunions & family gatherings).. I think that's good enough, everybody has their own life to live.

Life's too short to waste a chunk part of it on nonsense.

Yes,i used to wish they never got married.As a matter of fact,i used to pray that in my next world (if there's anything like that),i do not wish to be born into this family.But it's all good now sha,i guess.Receiving love from both.

No I do not. Choosing my dad is probably the best decision my mum made and for that I am grateful to her always. Seeing what others have been through. It is an absolute privilege to come from a stable and happy home.
