A few transporters, merchants and other people who give administrations on school grounds have regretted the pessimistic effect of the strike left on by the Academic Staff Union of Universities three months back.

They said the strike was not favourable to their organizations, including that the strike had diminished their deals and wages.
The activities in some universities has been been paralysed.
Shops, where photocopies and printing meets expectations were made, were shut. Few shops that were open operated their services at a high cost. Motorist are complaining of low patronage
One of the motorists said, “This strike period is tough for us. Most people who own buses are no longer coming. Only those of us that got our buses on hire purchase are forced to come to work because we have to complete our payment.
