Cityworks Real Estate Solutions Limited, an innovative real estate solutions provider situated in the Victoria Island axis of Lagos State, requires qualified candidates to fill its vacancy positions for Marketing Executive Officers. As a Marketing Exec., you would be required to have a profound understanding of the housing situation prevailing periodically in the country, conduct relevant research, creatively develop solutions/products to ease such challenges that are identified, develop a marketing strategy, promote our products and services and regularly communicate with our customers using various means. To excel in this position, you would have to work well in a team, be confident when working to deadlines, be social media savvy (facebook, twitter, Instagram, flickr, LinkedIn, etc.) and have a good business sense. You would need a minimum qualification of HND (Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, and Estate Management) to fit this role. However, more essential is business and marketing skills gained from previous jobs such as sales/marketing, customer service or public relations work. Skills and Qualities As a marketing executive, you should have: • Excellent spoken and written communication skills • Creative thinking • Good organization and planning skills • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines • The confidence to ‘sell’ your ideas • Attention to details • Drive, motivation and enthusiasm • Good business sense and budget awareness Tasks typically involve: • liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organizations; • communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships; • managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters and DVDs; • arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials; • maintaining and updating customer databases; • organizing and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions; • sourcing and securing sponsorship; • conducting market research such as customer questionnaires and focus groups; • contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies; • managing budgets; • evaluating marketing campaigns; • monitoring competitor activity; • Supporting the marketing manager and other colleagues. You would typically work standard office hours, Monday to Friday, with occasional extra hours at busy times such as the run-up to a campaign launch. You may also need to attend networking events in the evenings. Remuneration: Above industry standard and a percentage (to be determined) of transactions sourced and concluded by you as commission; you would also be entitled to transportation and phone allowances.
