I told you that I know ur types, no meaningful contribution, not smart, it is your types that bring disgrace to the blac race, only good at making noise. A man with the pedigree like Bill Gates leaves many things on his table to seek and meet Nigeria's president, even commending what they are doing and you are here making unintelligent noise. Let's give this guy Goodluck some respect due him, the number of investors and CEO's of top global companies that have shown interest in Nigeria in this administration, not even a quarter of them neared Nigeria during Obasanjo/ Yaradua era, there is something right that this administration is doing that is drawing them to Nigeria. But all you critics who cannot even do anything if given chance come here blasting and insulting the president calling him all sorts of names.

Notice how theoctopus disappeared and reincarnated in the form of other monikers to challenge me.

He knows he goofed when he fraudulently ascribed words to Gates and I asked him for show the words in the article.

Katsumoto:

Are you theoctopus? Why am I not surprised? If you agree that there was no place in the article where Gates praised Jonathan, why then are you not taking issues with a fraudulently titled thread?

The excerpt on polio was about the work Gates and his partners are doing on eradicating Polio. Don't try to give credit where it isn't due. If Jonathan and his predecessors did their jobs, Gates would not have had to step in to do the work that a government should be doing.

And lastly, at what point did I tell you I was Nigerian? Or does posting on Nairaland make me Nigerian? Perhaps posting on huffington post makes me American.

Ansa

Katsumoto:
This is first thread that I am opening on this forum and it is because I feel compelled to write something about the deplorable and sometimes regrettable state of affairs in this section.

I believe that this forum should be used to foster unity amongst all Nigerians; instead it is used by tribalists to bash other tribes. There is nothing wrong in any individual taking pride in their tribe but there is a lot wrong with opening a thread or making a post attacking other tribes. While it may seem that just a few posters are guilty of this acts, it serves to infuriate individuals of tribes being attacked, and leads to a circle of never-ending and self-defeating arguments.

I do not mean to question how you run your organisation but I, personally do not see the relevance of a tribalism section. A racism section is fine because of the number of posters living all around the world and may be useful for sharing ideas and experiences. If I have missed the purpose of the tribalism section, please feel free to enlighten me. The politics should be about politics. It should not be a section for attacking tribes nor should it be about the insignificant actions of individuals that have no relevance to society at large. For instance Mekusxxx started a thread today about a man who threatened to commit suicide if he was not granted a divorce. What has that got to do with Politics? The politics section should be about politics at the local government, state, and national level. We should be discussing issues such as our leaders continued absence, politics in Anambra, the situation in the Niger Delta, etc without any ethnic bias.

Persistent offenders should be repeatedly banned, no matter how many times that they change aliases. We may have differences of opinion and ideas but reasonable adults should not resort to insults. Threads that are designed to attack other tribes should be deleted immediately it is reported by a forum user or sighted by the moderator. May I also suggest at least three moderators for this section.

For the rest of the enlightened users, let us flag any incendiary threads as soon as we sight them, even if they are started by someone of our tribe. I am sometimes ashamed when I see threads started by someone of my tribe bashing another tribe. We should also debate without resorting to insults. I have debated many times against OnlyTruth and Afam but the debates have never resulted in insults being hurled.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please feel free to make any suggestions that may improve the quality of this section. We should be aware that there are many non-Nigerians in this section and until we start to vet who reads these sections, we should act with decorum, afterall, most of us were raised to act properly and with respect in public. I am also very much against any discussions that may lead to hatred of others not belonging to our tribes. We may have cultural differences as Nigerians but I think it should serve as a source of uniqueness and strength. We are blessed and we should celebrate our uniqueness and differences.

If you had any brain cells, you would realise that you shouldn't be giving praises to a president for the work done by an individual. But then again, we know those who support GEJ regardless of how woeful he does his job.

You are either a PDP card carrying member or someone in your circle is

or

You are from the Eastern part of Nigeria

or

both of the above

And I can choose to comment on any issue that is publicly available. Do you pay for my internet service? Sod off

Lol dude! I dont know where u think u might be to make demands and slander at a person like this. but it sure as hell aint where u r from.
anyway for d record he is not an easterner, and it doesnt matter if he is, cos unlike where u r from, we dont play tribalistic. A presidential aspirant comes out solely on grounds of his competence and capability to deliver. How he gets to d office is left to d masses.

Im sure from where u r from u may practise or have heard of a government for d ppl, of and by d ppl?

Now you are asking silly questions?

It is ok to fool around every now and then but at least try to make sense.

Opening teeth can't mask idiocy.

Using multiple monikers to support yourself can't help either.

You quoted me and asked me not to quote.

Are you a donkey? And how does asking for the OP to clarify how Gates praised GEJ equates to displaying hatred, making one a better person or making one more intelligent?

Enough of the ad hominem attacks, you dolts should highlight where Gates praised GEJ.
