Gollywood star actor, Van Vicker showed off his basketball skills at a celebrity charity basketball game in Accra recently.
Appearing at the court with his young son, Van Vicker joined fellow celebrities such as Channel O Music Awards nominated rapper and producer, Jayso, TV host PY Addo Boateng and basketball star, Mimi Falconer.

The game was part of the 2013 Bless The Mic music and arts festival and it took place at the “Culture Park” Basketball Court in partnership with DUNK! (Developing Unity, Nurturing Knowledge).

The purpose of the charity event was to raise awareness for the youth organization as well as to donate proceeds towards its aims and objectives. DUNK! is a Youth-led Community Based organization providing safe spaces for youth from deprived communities to grow, learn, play and socialize.

Through basketball, life skills training and mentoring and tutoring, DUNK! empowers its members to become agents of change in their communities and to succeed on and off the Court.
Established in 2011 in Nima, DUNK! is now working in 4 communities of Accra and in Krisan Refugee Camp (Western region) reaching out to over 450 children, employing 8 local staff and being visited by over 50 volunteers from all over the world.
