I think it wud be much fun driving around Africa with a powerful SUV. As for bike..... it should be a good experience but I'm not so keen about it.

Was there much concern about the safety of the bikes while you slept?...did you guys meet other bike groups?... How was the foods along the way?...had to ehmmm...dash off to the bushes after eating? ;-) ....noticed you guys were in like full riding gear...weren't you burning up?...seeing that you were riding well within the speed limit?!" ;-) No more questions.....at the moment!

U probably mean Hila Konji, Lol. They were not allowed to take pics ooo. At Aflao, there is short thickset military man very dark and carries himself like a frustrated military captain that lost a series of battles. If you try taking a pic there, omo, that guy go beat u like thief. I commend the suicide attempters on bike for not trying to take pics jare.

Some years back,it was very easy to go benin without been disturbed by asking you to pay cash but today, almost everyone is paying to enter benin after you must have settled yourself at the immigration post. This guys are getting worse by the day, when they mean you should drop l'argent(money), better do it.

Wetin dey…Why are so many people skeptic. Like Shagati said, Lagos to Accra is only 460 km, In my option the most frustrating part about the trip are the border crossing, in particular Aflao. Nice one Shagati, I enjoyed the few pictures.

@ omoajiri; I would be selling my 2008 Yamaha R6 end of Nov, it’s an ideal bike for starters (if you aren’t above 6 feet tall). I most warn you you’ll probably get an R6 cheaper than mine at Ebute-Metta/Oyingbo, but mine’s got full Yamaha service history, 1 owner and it’s ready for Shagati kind trips.
