But going as far as firing 19 rounds? I think that's going overboard.

Centeron, Arkansas police said 35-year-old John Baldwin fired about 19 shots at a group of three Jehovah Witnesses after telling them to get lost.

According to reports, everything was fine when the Jehovah's Witnesses first arrived at Baldwin's home on Saturday. But when Baldwin learned the men were Jehovah's Witnesses, he allegedly told them to "get the [expletive] off my property" and said "Get me my 9" as the men were getting into their car.

Police said they found 13 shell casings and a Springfield XDM-9mm handgun in front of Baldwin's house, according to reports. Baldwin was arrested and released on $50,000 bond. He will be charged with felony aggravated assault, the station notes.

Luckily, the three men escaped unhurt.

Baldwin could be slammed with a $10,000 fine and jailed for six years.

This could also happen to folks who do door to door sales job. Please be careful.

The organisation is an immensely wealthy real estate/publishing/hedge fund operation which depends on extraction of money for books, magazines and "worldwide work contributions" from its captive market of 7 million plus "interested persons".
They have suffered financially recently after losing billions in the American real estate market crash and several multimillion dollar payouts to settle child abuse cases in Australia and Canada. In addition their income base is shrinking because many of their old members are dying and their young are leaving in droves. Hence, the whip is being cracked from HQ to bring more people in for the sinking ship to be propped up.
They are broke and haemorrhaging money and have even been forced to sell their new York HQ. They are selling this to their members as a move to a new headquarters to "further the work" etc etc but in actual fact, maintaining that Brooklyn skyscraper is just too expensive when their members are not able to remit more money than they are and the next generation of mugu are running away in their tens of thousands. The new HQ places emphasis on "natural lighting" and "energy saving" measures ostensibly for environmental protection reasons but in actual fact, it is because they are broke and falling apart.

I am not a witness and I can't speak for them, but I can't keep mute, while you spread untruth about this people. Can you make reference to the settlement case you are talking about in Canada or Australia or did you just made it up? My wife is a witness for the past 20 years and I cannot exchange her for any person because of how well behave she has become since she became a member. So through her I knew a lot about them. They don't have a clergy class like most churches, they call themselves brothers hence, everyone is equal. They attend their meetings at their hall and at the end the meeting, everyone goes home with his family till next meeting, so where did child abuse get into your system?

You sounded like someone they threw out because of immorality, which is what they do unlike most churches where you can do whatever you like. Iv come across a few witnesses quoting from a kind of bible, where book like Isaiah is called Messiah, God is Jehovah, anyways I'm not too sure of this, whatever book or publication they bring ( that isnt the bible i know, or in conformity with the bible i know ) to use, I use against them.

When she does her personal study, she uses more than 3 bible, because of use of language in bible may differ but they are always saying the same thing. The JW uses the New world translation, which I find to have the most modern English, when I compared it to bibles like king James, that is the only different, just the age of English. Just for example, in king james you can read things "Thou shall" and in the New World Translation you will get "You shall".

This is one religious group I have immense respect for. They used to come preach to me until we became friends and they would always ask me to read from my own bible knowing all the rumours people bandied about concerning having their own twisted form of bible like 50 Calibre thinks. In all the years I listened to them I found them to be very gentle and loving people, treating each other equally. No social strata like you have in other churches where pastor and family reign supreme. A lot of them are proffessionals and no matter the amount of wealth you have, whenever it was time for their camp meetings, everyone must park their "limuosines" and enter the same hired molue as every one else. A lot of the doctrines they preach are misconstrued by their listeners because they already have their mind bias with rumors. I have confronted them times without number on many issues and gotten often satisfactory bible-backed answers for the most part. A lot of pentecostal christians dont read the bible, except the part the pastor reads to them or it has to do with fire!!!riches, blind the enemy, back to sender! Christianity should be about loving GOD and your neighbor, not only about GOD doing things for you and sending fire to burn your perceived enemies, or about escaping hell and making heaven. Life can be really simple when you love GOD and your fellow man and that is what they exemplify as a group. God created man to have a relationship with him, not to save him from the devil. That came later.

I've encountered them multiple times, the lucky ones who meet me busy, I dismiss & maybe accept their magazine, the unlucky ones (who meet me free) I engage in a spiritual debate, I break down the bible for them piece by piece & before their very eyes, see me prove their doctrine to be heresy, they all leave with their tails inbetween their legs.

The first weapon in my arsenal which I use against them is " shall we pray " for some weird reason, they don't pray to Jesus.

Then I go into discrediting their bible, and proving it a junk because of course they have their own ludicrous version of the bible where God is called jehova.

1.We dont force people at all to listen to the word that we preach.
