Sorry If I put it in the wrong Section.
Computer Gurus/EngIneers Pls Help..
when I shutdown my Toshiba Satellite l855 and
close it down, anytime I open it it automatically
switches on itself even without pressing the switch
on button.
any solution to this pls. I am not enjoying it. I am running on window 7.

If you are sure you normally shut it down before closing the lids, then the Rubber Bumpers/Casing must be pressing the power button too tight thereby turning it on always.

Check your Windows power management settings. Might be set to turn on when lid is open. Change to suit your needs,

Nice try maam, but opening the laptop lid cannot turn on the laptop, only closing the lid can shut it down, the power button must be pressed in other for the laptop to turn on
