It is now official. ..effective from Tuesday 3rd December 2013 airtel bis plans will cease to work on Android phones and other non blackberry gadgets. ...this is contained in a network text sent by airtel to suspected android airtel bis users like u and I...it'll be recalled that Android users had for months found solace in airtel bis as a means of running away from the costly android plans offered by network providers airtel inclusive. ..see screen shots of the text below

I also got a call from them about two weeks ago. They said they noticed I was using a BB Plan on my Android phone. And they were advertising some expensive plans for me to use.

I just told them that I would consider and then hung up.

It's a protocol inside Droidvpn. I can't explain more than this but, you can only make use of ICMP when you have installed Droidvpn on your Android phone, in order to use MTN BIS subscription plan on your Android device. Thank you.
