Nigeria’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s candidate in the
Delta Central Senatorial by-election, Chief Emmanuel
Agwariavwodo, party leaders, the traditional ruler of Agbon
Kingdom, HRH Mike Omeru Ukori I and several policemen
were Friday held hostage at Kokori, Ethiope East local
government area of the state, by thugs said to be loyal to the
detained notorious kidnapper, Kelvin Prosper Oniarah,.
Also, several cars worth millions of naira, parked inside and
outside the palace were set blaze by the thugs.
The Delta state gangsters: supporters hold PDP candidate
hostage Agwariavwodo and his entourage who were at the palace of the traditional ruler for campaigns, were said to have been locked inside the palace by the Kelvin’s boys and their sympathisers.
The incident which lasted several hours witnessed a
demonstration by the Kelvin boys and some of the community youths who called for the immediate release of their boss.
The senatorial hopful had flagged off his campaign yesterday
in Oghara, Ethiope West Local Government Area of the state, with Kokori being his next point of call.

Amid the senatorial by-election schedule for October 12, 2013. This is a warning to all Youth Corp Members serving in Delta State especially those serving in Ethiopia West and Ethiopia East LGA to be careful on the election day. The LI had informed the Corners that they'll be the field officer's during election and INEC training for Corners will be on 7th and 8th of October 2013.
Please be vigilante and if possible don't partake in the election, it's not compulsory.

nice one, they should start from the community level, but though should be wise in their quest for freedom so that their interest wont be bought just as they have always be bought in cases like this.
