ResearchClass.com is a newly established online library which aims at making Nigerian academic materials available to every researcher, while also ensuring that the authors of those materials receive appropriate royalties as the materials are read or downloaded. The plan is to have both lecturers and students share their academic materials, whether handouts, lecture notes, course notes, assignments, problem sets, solution sets, past questions, tutorials, papers, seminars, term papers, projects, theses, dissertations, or books and receive royalties as those materials are read or downloaded. Materials uploaded to the library have the highest form of DRM, hence they can’t be copied or illegally shared. In line with our goal of being a repository of Nigerian academic materials, we require student faculty representatives in all the tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Their job description will be to sensitize the populace about ResearchClass.com and assist students and lecturers in the upload of their materials. These faculty reps will be paid a commission based on the number of materials uploaded by students and lecturers of the particular faculty they are representing. The commission rates are as follows: • Past Questions/Answers = N150 each • Lecture/course notes = N250 each • Term papers/projects/books = N350 each Please note that the payment is to you, the faculty rep. Owners/authors of the uploaded materials will collect revenue (royalties) that will accrue when users read or purchase their materials. Also note that only one rep per faculty is permitted.
