Jamb Should Make Purchase Of Forms Online Not Only Through Banks by 4good(m): 2:18pm On Oct 08, 2013 |
As 2014/2015 Jamb-UTme registration is around the corner, I want to use this popular forum to advise Jamb to make the purchase of Registration form online through Accredited Registration centres in addition to Bank option. This could take any of these formats - ATM payment at d accredited registration centres during registration. - E-tranzact pin generation at the accredited registration centres. (GCE, Yabatech PUTME, FedPolyEde PUTME etc already use this method) Accredited registration centres pay N10,000 Non-refundable fees (the purpose of which nobody knows) and I believe this amount is enough for any Centre to be made an Agent to sell registration form. If interested centres are required to maintain a certain value of e-float in order to generate PIN and serial no at regulated price with same profit margin with what the banks get then many SMEs who do Jamb registration business would benefit better from the rigour of registering candidates for Jamb. Benefits of this proposition: -The registration forms will be closer to candidates -Candidates needn't transport to banks and queue for registration forms (which sometimes banks will say not available, come tomorrow) -More return on Accredited Centres deposits of N10,000 -Candidates will be able to buy and register at the same point -Less traffic inside banking Halls during this period If you are in support of the above please like the post and put in your comments and opinions. |
