Why do we do good?
What if there is no hell or a heaven?
What if god or the devil does not exist?
What if good and evil are a matter of our conscience?
Will we still do good?
Will the world not fall into chaos?
A times, I wonder why people serve their gods,
Is it to escape eternal damnation or be safe on the last day?
What if the eternal life - either in heaven or hell is a hoax,
Will we still do good?
Will we strive for peace?
If I were to be a god, will I not prefer people worshipping and reverencing my name at will
Instead of doing so to avoid my wrath.
Question why you serve any god:
- to prevent eternal damnation?
- because of families?
- because of society?
- because of your love for him?
Guess we'll never know what the world will be without a god-figure, at least not at present.
All in all,
Let us do good,
Let us strive for peace and prevent the world from falling into chaos.
For when our time is done, we'll know there is "heaven on earth".
Think, meditate, it is free........., for now!
