(CNN) -- A ship carrying about 250 people has capsized off the coast of Sicily, Italian news agency ANSA reported Friday. The ship is believed to have been carrying migrants. Authorities responded to a mayday from the ship, which was about 60 miles offshore, Maj. Leonardo Ricci told CNN.
