I am Just pondering and wondering on the whereabouts of the Educational programs on our terrestrial television stations. This days, Music/dancing reality show are what is now rampant on TVs. please can anyone help revive the programs like Bournvita Brain Match, speak out(NTA), Work it out(NTA ),Flying high and the Zain African Challenge (for Universities ). Where are the corporate organizations? The corporate social responsibility is not only meant to develop the Entertainment Industry alone...........what about our future(Education )?

The corporate Organizations in the country need to come to our aid. my opinion.

@op, even on newspapers both hard copy and also on their online pages you hardly come across EDUCATION section, when ever they have something to say on education they just attach it to the corner of the back page. You only get to see breaking news like "ASUU strike has been called off" on the front pages of newspapers and magazines. Fashion and music has taken over the whole place and yet we want to be among the worlds top 20 countries come 2020. Every youth out there wants to audition for music, fashion...etc competitions only a few take education and skills acquisition seriously.
It's alarming!
