The Biggest Nose in the World Competition

People compete in many things. The biggest nose competition is certainly one of the most interesting competitions is the world. This competition is organized in Lafgenbruck, Germany. It has a long tradition, because the championship is more than fifty years old! People from all parts of the world come to this town to compete!

The competition has an interesting history. A group of town officials gathered in a local pub. They started talking and making fun of their big noses. One of them said that it would be a good idea to make a big nose club, and the other one replied that they could even have a king of big noses. It was just a joke, but after some time, they started thinking about this idea and established the Association of big noses.



To be a part of this association, you had to have a nose longer than 60 millimeters. Your nose had to be wider than 40 millimeters. Today, the big nose club has more than 300 registered members. Every five years, the Big Nose Competition is held in this town. The noses are measured and there are certain rules. The contestants can make faces to enlarge their noses, but they cannot use illegal substances for making their noses bigger.

Organizers have invited new contestants to join the party. They were sure that there were other undiscovered big noses out there, and it would be great to see them, too! There is a contest for women and for men. This is natural, because a male nose cannot compete with a female nose. As we know, male noses are naturally bigger than the female noses.

If you think you have a big nose, perhaps you should join the club! Many people hate their big noses, and some of them go to surgeries in order to make their noses smaller. However, this contest is a great way of showing that even big noses are great and if you have one, you should be proud of it!
