Odunsi’s Death, Big Blow To Democracy – Sulaimon Oris

The Chairman of Bariga Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State, Mr. Akeem Omoyele Sulaimon, has described the death of a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Alhaji Lateef Odunsi as a big blow to democracy.

Sulaimon, who said the exit of Odunsi has left a vacuum in the politics of Lagos State and the whole of southwest, which would be difficult to fill stated that, “Alhaji Odunsi has been a good politician for long and we will all miss him”.

He added “He was a thoroughbred democrat, detribalized Nigerian and a firm believer in the rule of law, justice and equity’’.

While praying for the soul of Alhaji Odunsi, Sulaimon also prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
