Sitting on the bench at the beach on a black and grey day
i'm debating and relating to my myself in the pouring rain
wondering and pondering why things are not the same
it was barely yesterday that i took your hands
but now i don't even want to be where i stand
and the smiles have turned to wrinkles of despair on your beautiful face
i'm angry with myself, the adrenalin rushing all through my vains
how could i be so vain, treating you like like i treated all the other dames
when you are something different, it's really clear, simple and plain
I took your love for granted and now it's driving me insane
I'm the villain, you are the saint and i'm saying i'm ashamed
of all the stupid things i said, did and caused you all that pain
now i'm promising to change, and i'll say it again and again
cos now i realised what you've been saying every day
your love is worth more than me throwing it all away
so now i'm getting up from the bench and the rain suddenly stops
and the grey sky turns blue and then i see a rainbow
in the rainbow i see your face and i know it will be a beAutiful day.
