OtoloI served in Keffi, Nasarawa state and despite the mild constant provision of water, people still washed their clothes with water from the gutters and stagnant water on various roads. they even took their bath in these gutters.........who now Is to be blamed for this? cos i',m very sure that some of them used the same type of water to cook..... just my opinion 1 Like |

Well, it shows that a lot of Public Health education and awareness still needs to be implemented. Basic hygiene needs to be taught. Sad that these diseases will still be popping up way deep into the millennium. Definitely a mockery to the MDGs. R.I.P to the dead. http://www.hairbraidingnetwork.com/blog |

youngibe: You must be very stupid to call the less fortunate who are not privilage to get good drinkin water stinky fellows. Otolodo you honestly think this is about drinking water? Even those among them who have drinking water are nothing to write home about where hygeine is concerned. Or what happened to bathing and washing of hands after using toilet? Have you been to the north and observe how Very comfortable most are with disease-carrying flies. The common rural northerner has no use for hygeine Sees no need for it.and doesn't wanna learn. Their hygeine level falls below zero. Face it. |
