Obi Is Always A Boy In Nigeria by Bantino(m): 10:59am On Oct 26, 2013
When will obi become a man in Nigerian?

In 1979, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur was the Governor of the defunct
Gongola State (now Adamawa & Taraba), Barack Obama was attending school in Honolulu then and 34 years after he
(Bamanga Tukur) is the Chairman of the ruling Party - The PDP;

Dr. Bello Halliru was commissioner in the Old Sokoto State (now
Sokoto, Kebbi & Zamfara) and 34 years after he is today Minister of Defence; David Mark was the Military Governor of Niger State in 1984 and 29 years after he is today the Senate President; Gov. Murtala Nyako was the governor of Niger
State in 1976 and 37 years after he is today the Governor of Adamawa State; Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu was Governor of Abia State
in 1992 and 21 years after he is today the National Chairman of ANPP;

Gov. David Jonah Jang was the governor of Benue State
in 1985 and 28 years after he is today the governor of plateau state; and Martins Elechi, the Ebonyi State Governor is over 80
years old!. Major General Mohammed Buhari became Military Head of State of Nigeria in 1983 when he militarily sacked an elected democratic government. After 32 years when he will be 72 years old, he is still contesting for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Now the 80 year old Mr. fix it - Tony Anenih who IN 1960 served as orderly to Nigeria's first indigenous Governor General, Late Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe is the
Chairman of PDP's Board of Trustees and Nigeria ports Authority (NPA). Mr Anineh is more than 80 years old. When will he rest his weary bones?
Yes this was then and Obi was a boy but was Obama a man or a boy at that time?. The answer is in the White House, USA. Where
are the mates of Barack Obama in Nigeria or has he no age mate in this country?. Maybe 25 years ago when Obama was an
undergraduate in US, there were no Nigerian undergraduate and if there were, then those ones are Obi and as such can never be a man but always a boy.

Where are the family members of these men?. Do they have Children at all and why have those children of theirs refused to grow up to be a man?. Maybe they are all Obi that is always a boy as such daddy must feed them even when their mate - Barack Obama is the President of the United States. Sorry to
these sons of these every year young but age impaired men who see no capability in their children. Otherwise why will they not empower their kids to do what they did 25 -40 years ago?.

Is it unconstitutional for one of the General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida sons to run for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria or even Senate or member house of Representatives or even governor of his state, giving the
enormous goodwill their father enjoys across the country?. Maybe there is no one trustworthy enough among his children for him to hand over the baton to as such General Buhari must fight even at age 72?.

President G.W Bush could trust his son and his son became President of the United States after him. Yes, Late Saraki did it in his home state, kwara and today his son is a former governor and even senator. But Bode George will not do it in Lagos and General (rtd) former President Olusegun Obasanjo
has not thought it possible in his native Ogun State. In the US Senate, you have sons of former President and Senators but in
Nigeria it is and must be the David Mark's. When is Obi growing up?. Maybe Obi did not drink milk.

Age, experience and maturity is all important but will Nigeria ever have former leaders?. Will there be a time when these men can be consulted for their sincere, straight from the mind and honest advise when at each turn of events they remain major players?.

Since Obi must remain a boy, from where will he - Obi, garner the requisite experience he will need to be a leader himself?. And where did these "till i die political leaders" garner their own experience when they began in the 60's, 70's, 80's and early 90's?. it is left to the imagination what will be the state of affairs in the family if these daddy drops down like all mortals.

If ever you had the patience to read this long piece, please share it and keep posting it till it gets to the attention and notice of these men with age impaired conscience so that they begin to realize that state funeral is not as valuable as a well merited rest.

2015 is around the corner and it will be time to take a look at the 40 and 50 year olds for the much needed leadership direction that these great country has been yearning for all these years. YES, THE TIME IS NOW.
