the below picture is of Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi Golpaygani (born 1918) honoring an African student in the religious seminary (known as Hawza) of the holy city of Qom, by humbly kissing his hand. as it appears, I think the student is a new scholar who graduated and was in the ceremony to get his turban from the Ayatollah. 1 Like
