Asalamu alikum wa rahmotullahi wa barakatuhu. Today is Zul Hijah 22nd which means that in about7 or 8 days we will be in new Hijrah 1435 AH. How can muslim prepare for the incoming Hijrah? |

1.Inform friends and family about Hijrah. Let them know the significance and lessons of Hijrah. 2.Read books or surf internet to know about Hijrah. 3.Prepare your mind to increase in faith and steadfast to Allah's will. 4.Renounce from certain sins. 5.Make resolution to increase ibadaat. 6.Fast on the 1st,9th and 10th day and any other day of Muharram. BENEFIT OF FASTING IN MUHARRAM. The Prophet was reported to say "another fast that is more rewarding after Ramadan is in the month of Muharram". Prepare and inform others but don't CELEBRATE. Rebroadcast generously. |

Good to know. The Islamic new year is almost not known to some muslims.. A little enlightenment is very much welcome. May Allah help us increase our Ibadah in the fast approaching month of Muharram. |
