Oga, na wa for all this ur FBI stunts.
So how does this your question concern this recruitment....smh

I read that post waaaaaaaaay back in May and I follow click Like in celebration of his good fortune. The moniker stuck with me since then. So I was a bit befuddled when I saw the moniker commenting here. #NoBeef #JustConfused

Saved2Serve I believe the test you wrote online unsupervised was an SHL test. The validation test will still be an SHL test of the same standard as the one you did from home. The purpose of writing from home is twofold in my opinion, to weed out those obviously unqualified and to evaluate integrity. If you did well from home you should do relatively well (within the same score range) from a supervised location. Goodluck

the same thing i met. i just lucked up and faced it with God. All that will happen has already been destined from the onset, so hoarding info or not. The chosen of the Lord must stand. That is why i even didn't care to exchange phone contacts at interview venue because after my little inquiry and chit-chat with some guys who just bagged into me trying to know where i was working (just to gauge their chances). Siege Mentality! I discovered that they all were ardent followers of nairaland NLNG threads. They come and read - gain insights and gather info but won't contribute and share their own experiences and thoughts. I left the venue solo. Let us all stick to our isolation, no need to form alliance or team till we get to bonny, that is if it is God's wish that we even get to bonny.

I learnt something in this NLNG recruitment about connecting with people on nairaland even when it seems we all are chasing one common "limited" chances of success. A guy opened a thread asking who have received an invitation from NLNG, nobody responded. I responded to the guy in affirmation. We connected offline, and it happened that he graduated from my alma mata/department, but my junior at that and he had already collected his certificate, which i never knew was ready for collection. He told me to rush to school and pick up mine by all means so as not to jeopardize my chances at interview - for it looked some how for older grad to present statement of result while he the junior presented original certificate. I had 5days to get this before interview, God helped me, i did. Guess what? at interview, one candidate who graduated from same school with us came for interview but with statement of result. He is on this nairaland, he read that thread on our recruitment, yet he chose not to respond. had he communicated on that thread, he also would have known that our alma mata have started issuing out certificates. well, he was shocked to be singled out during accreditation and questioned why his junior (me) in school came with certificate and he (older set) came with statement of result? After the interview he called me to inquire in amazement if i really graduated from same school with him. I understood his surprise because i too have done all i could to get my certificate before but it met brick wall. No man is an island. Had he connected with us on nairaland he too would have known that his certificate was ready for collection. see in this life, nobody is in competition with me. I am only competing against myself - just to strive and beat my earlier records. simple!!

what am saying in essence is, guys ripe urself of these siege mentality and that feeling that you are competing against every naira, post and land. For me, what is mine is mine. if i dont get NLNG job, it is not as a result of what information i shared or how i gave out my success secret. No!! it is because it is not saved2serve's divine choice, though it may be humanly my choice. At the end of the day, i prefer divine courses to abound for me above my humanly wishes.

You have spoken well sir. May God grant you your heart desires

My exact sentiment when we were still prepping for the interview. In fact on the first page of the EH thread was this guy (not @maxmayor) that seemed to know so much about the structure of the interview but never told us anything. In fact I sent him a mail asking for tips after reassuring him that we were not vieing for the same position. For where? The guy blanked all through.

Fast forward to a year later, I don't think he is still in the race cos if he were, he would have at least acknowledged on the thread. He struck me as a loud mouthed kinda guy.

I absolutely agree with you that this NLNG thingy is all divinely appointed and if you don't get in its not because of things you shared or didn't share prior to the interview. At least in my case, when I first saw the ad, i was like, omo, na winch these guys wan hire sha. I thot their requirements were unachievable for me and as such I didn't apply. But I thank God for a colleague of mine that God sent to continually pester me to apply. I still did not apply until the deadline expired. So during one of his pestering sessions, he asked if I applied. I told him I didn't and beside it was too late to do so at the time because the deadline had expired. That was when he told me that the deadline had been extended by a week due to network issues. But in retrospect, i think the extension was given because I hadn't sent in my application after the 2 week initial deadline expired. I eventually did and now see what God in his infinite mercies has done.

I need to tell you that I like your thought process and I really would like to be friends with you when we arrive Bonny as long as you are not the 'forming' type.

Cheers bro.

Forkdict, i am a fan of yours! In fact, your post just gave me goose pimple, but i will say something here in coming weeks. Meanwhile i have joined the waiting club of NLNG. if you don't have faith and strong will, this is one of the most difficult times psychologically. Meanwhile, @ forkadict, have you guys been reinbursed for your trans-fare to the interview venue? How long apart did it take after the interview? I just need to put 2 and 2 to deduce something. We never get anything, at least the 1k alert could have been a good pointer to something to hold unto in terms of solving the myriads of post-interview puzzles and questions buzzing up n down my head and those of my new friends.

Good to know that the feeling is mutual.

About reimbursement, we were actually sorted the same day shortly before stepping into the judgement room. (The interview room).

It's incredible how nearly all the theories proposed here concerning the timeline of this recruitment have gradually fallen apart.

In other news, Mr President is in Iran attending the 3rd Gas Exporting Countries Forum where they shall among other things review the current market outlook on gas and discuss strategies for boosting gas production, which for Nigeria could mean more impetus for the train 7 project. I expected oga Babs to be in the entourage but I only saw Kachikwu's name. I guess that will suffice since he's a key member of the NLNG board.

I will be surprised if the almighty theory of resumption January is true. I don't see how that can be managed considering December is just next week and AC would likely not fall within the Christmas period.

Unless of course the invitation for medicals comes with the result notification mails and both come this week....Miracles happen though.

I have gone from suspension, to anticipation, to agitation, to frustration, to hope, to resignation, to confusion, to submission within this period. NLNG no try sha! cry

Ok guys. As much as I understand your agitations for feedback from our guys, I just want to chip in that all your anxiety until now have only been uncalled for. Uncalled for in the sense that you were told to expect feedback twelve weeks after AC. That deadline only just elapsed cos AC was concluded end of August. So any over the top emotions/agitations from now onward is very much justified.

As I have always said on here, I wish every single guy on here best of luck. Most especially my home boys whom I will specifically mention their names when the time is right.

This will likely be the week. LOL.

Best of luck guys. Again and again and again...

^^^correction AC was concluded late July.

This wait just reminds me of Schrödinger's cat. Right now everybody will be invited for medicals and everybody won't be invited for medicals. Until the mail drops and we truly know our fates.

Precisely, AC was concluded 1st week of August. So this means 12 weeks from the end of AC should have been between 4th and 6th of November, 2 weeks ago.

AC ended first week in August at the latest (though I believe it finished @ the end of July). And I/we was/were told to expect the outcome in 3 months not three months after AC. So the folks who did theirs on the first day are well within their rights to have been expectant from the 2nd week of sept.
I hope u realise that cumulatively we have spent about the same time in this recruitment process and as u know the wait is not funny.
I’m quite confident that we can’t resume in January, February will be a bonus because that’s when the last batch of EHs will likely resume.
I know some bottlenecks persist considering the current climate but at minimum NLNG should notify us of the outcome. They can use their “waiting list” style to stagger resumption.
Wishing everyone unlimited favour.
As always, Father let your will be done.
