Henry rushed straight to Susie's apartment. The door was banged at his face just when he got close. It was strange to Henry. Is this really happening? he thought.

Henry pounded hard at it, but no answer was forthcoming. It was like a dream to him, Susie closing her door on him was something beyond his imagination.

Now Henry began to get it. Susie must have come to his house when he was with Cassy and Genevieve. For sure she would have dialled his number. Maybe Cassy had picked it up to insult her. But why was her dials not on his cellular? Maybe those girls have deleted them, he thought. He must now clarify things.

Henry banged the door hard, but Susie didn't listen.

"Susie, it's me Henry," Henry said.

" You can go to hell for all I care!" Susie yelled from the interior.

"Please Susie can you explain what's bringing all these mess?" Henry said impatiently.

"Pretender!" Susie vociferated. "Just clear off my door before I dial 911!"

"What the hell?" Henry screamed. What could have gone wrong with her head? Maybe she's insane, he thought.

Henry's effort to get her open the door or talk to him was futile. In annoyance Henry got the door opened with magic. He saw Susie in tears. Her eyes had swollen double. She must have been weeping since the night before. When she saw Henry step in, she was alarmed.

"How?" she paused and gasped. "How did you get in here?"

"Never worry, I have your extra key," Henry said.

"My extra key?" said Susie. "Give that to me immediately, you---traitor!" Susie sniffed in between her speech.

"Sorry I'm not giving you until you tell me why you decided to spoil my day this early. I mean I just received the shock of my life this morning when Cheung came to tell me that you said I should go to hell. Are you out of your mind Susie?"

"And I'm saying it again right in here--Go To Hell!" Susie shouted. Henry wanted to touch her but she yanked his hand off before it would touch her shoulder.

"Are you crazy?" Henry's anger was now full-blown. "How could you just be so harsh on me suddenly without a reason? What has come over you, uh? Jus' jus' tell me you're fed up with me and I'll leave instead of treating me like a nonentity. Then I'll have to go back to Cynthia's pursuit or just settle for CCUL beauty queen Jessica once and for all! Is she not beautiful?"

Susie forced a smirk.

"Now I know you never loved me. Hm, glad to know that now, double-dater; impostor. Now leave my apartment and go back to them!"

She was serious. Henry coudn't bear her insult anymore. He just walked out of her door and banged it furiously.

Susie broke into tears.

Susie retrieve an envelope from her handbag. She just got the parcel at her door just few minutes before Henry arrived. She hadn't opened the content for the fear of what she perceived was in it.

She soon tore it opened.

"I said it!" she screamed when she found out the content of the envelope. Henry and Cassy were in them in many questionable postures. Her tears began to flow once more.

"Hen-ry," she sobbed.

Henry met Jessica on his way back to his apartment. Jessica came close and said, "Hi!"

"Hi," Henry responded through his nose.

"You're not looking okay, Henry."

"I'm okay," Henry said and hurried away. Jessica smiled.

"He'll soon be mine," she whispered happily to herself.

Henry soon joined the Teds in his room. The older Ted was eager to know what Henry came up with.

"So, Henry how did it go?"

"Bad," Henry said. "I don't wanna go into details now. Let's just forget about it for the moment."

The older Ted was inquisitive. He wanted to hear something from Henry, so he decided to tell him Ted's confession so Henry could reciprocate.

"Susie was actually here yesterday," said the older Ted. The younger Ted was stepping on his toes. He didn't want him to reveal the secret. The older Ted didn't comply.

"How d'you know she was here?" Henry asked.

"This boy said so," he pointed to the younger Ted. The boy had to come out clear now.

"It's the truth. I met her here yesterday evening," he confessed.

"Henry, she dialled your number and somebody picked it up," the older Ted said as though he was sure of what he was saying.

"Are you saying the truth?" Henry asked.

"Uh, uh," Ted replied.

"How do you know that, or your perception?"

"I found it out on your telephone-landline. I checked your call logs, found that your cellular was dialled around 8pm- call duration was six minutes."

"Damn!" Henry was angry. He now knew the cause of the whole thing. Cassy was the devil, he thought.

Henry wasn't only annoyed with Cassy but with Susie as well. Why did she treat him this way? Why can't she just tell him what transpired. To Henry, Susie had acted in a childish manner.

Henry vowed to do away with her for the moment. He would pay her back in her own coin. If Susie wouldn't come to apologize, then he was ready to call it a date with her.

TO HELL WITH HENRY'S BOOK OF POWER

Henry joined the Teds to study the book of power. Earlier, they had discovered how one could stay protected even while being spied at. Out of excitement then, they quickly activated the 'how to' on themselves. They also came across how they could make the book of power move by itself from one place to another. Immediately they activated that too. They had also activated the invisibility of the book to non-magicians, so they wouldn't need to bother hiding it anymore in case someone just barged in again.

Earlier, Harrison had tried all he could to spy at them, but since they had locked themselves from being spied at earlier, he couldn't find it out. Mrs Ross had told Harrison that the younger Ted had died when he spoke to her over the mirror the day before.

"How do you know this?" Harrison had asked her.

"I called her aunt and she told me Ted was missing. He must have fallen dead somewhere."

Harrison didn't believe her. He wanted to be sure Ted was dead indeed. He began to think of spying at them again. Just when he was going for his mirror, a knock came on his door. His path was diverted to the door of the lounge.

Harrison opened the door for Mrs. Ross. She was on a white wedding gown.

"Why are you on this Mrs. Ross?"

"Call me Lucy, please, Sir Harrison," she said slowly. She smiled.

"Okay, Lucy," Harrison said. "Why putting on a wedding gown?"

"For the wedding of course, my sweetheart. The wedding rings are here."

Mrs. Ross walked close to Harrison; he stepped back. She came closer to engulf him in her grip but Harrison shoved off her hands.

"Not yet Lucy; I must confirm that he is dead, else no way..."

"Believe me, Ted Manuel is dead!" Mrs Ross said. "I called her aunt this morning, she confirmed Ted isn't back still. She has gone in search of him in every police post; nowhere to be found."

"Maybe he's kidnapped somewhere or he's with Henry and Ted. We can't just conclude he's dead like that."

Mrs. Ross was seriously losing patience. She asked, "What shall we do now?"

The younger Ted was bored with the book of power. The words in them were difficult for him to comprehend.

"I'm bored of the words in here," the younger Ted revealed his boredom. "I don't think I'm gonna have time cramming a whole lot of balderdash in this book-Jargons!"

Henry and the older Ted couldn't help laughing.

"Ted, you're funny. Harrison would get hold of you easily. You know he wouldn't stop acquiring magical knowledge everyday," said the older Ted.

"Oh, it's true!" the younger Ted howled. He was scared suddenly. "So, Henry you're sure going to let me make a duplicate of that book, ain't you?"

"You can't do that?" Henry said.

"Why?" asked the younger Ted.

"You've gotta go ask the author for permission to duplicate 'cos it has copyright," Henry said in a serious manner.

"To hell with copyright!" Ted shouted. "What's by business with copyright? Give me the damn book Henry, I've got to go with the duplicate today, else..."

"Are you threatening him?" the older Ted barged in. "Can't you see for yourself that you can't duplicate it?" The older Ted had opened the copyright page for him to see.

"Author's permission? How do I get to hell to ask him that?" the younger Ted was joshing but both Henry and the older Ted were not in the mood for amusement now. Somehow, the thought of losing Susie their fourth close companion was having a 'side effect' on them.

"We ain't joking here, ur!" the older Ted screamed at the younger, then Henry added, "As a matter of fact, whatever you quote from the duplicated copy would not work at all or would work against you. Morgan Fox himself wrote this."

Morgan Fox was the author of the book in question.

The younger Ted himself saw what Henry was quoting; it was written in English. He was angry with the author in absentia.

"To hell with all of you!" he vituperated. "To hell with you Henry, Ted, CCUL and Morgan Fox himself..."

"Shut up!" cried the older Ted. "What's all these hullabaloo? Ain't you any respect for Morgan Fox the author of Henry's book of power?"

"To hell with Henry's book of power!" shouted the younger Ted in annoyance.

"Shut up!" Henry was angry, but the younger Ted wasn't ready to surrender.

"I say it again; to hell with Henry's book of power!"

A great tranquility descended on the room. It was as though they were in a graveyard. Suddenly, the book of power began to rise by itself. They were shocked. Before they could say 'Jack Robinson' the book was already at the exit door squeezing itself through. The boys just stood still, mouths wide agape. They were able to come to their senses when the book was already outside the house.

Without putting on their clothing, they rushed after the book: they were all on shorts and singlets. When they came out of the door, they saw the book floating far from them.

"Let's go get it!" Henry screamed. They gave it a hot chase.

There was a windy ambience out there. A lady had a baby strapped to her body. The baby had a balloon with her, serving as a toy. The wind ripped the balloon off her grip and it floated in the air. At first she was weeping, but when it began to appear as though three matured guys were chasing the balloon, she burst into laughter.

Henry and the Teds weren't aware that people were watching them. The little rope on the balloon had somehow got stuck to the zipper of the book of power and they both floated in the air. No one saw the book of power except Henry and his two friends because they were ordinary ones.

Susie was just about to catch a taxi to her department when she saw them afar off chasing a balloon. She was shocked.

"Am I seeing a hallucination?" she asked herself, scrubbing her palms against her face. When she looked again, they were still in the act.
"They are mad," she concluded.

Cynthia and Pete were holding on to each other chatting happily as they were approaching the taxi park. They were going for morning lecture.

"Holy Connoly!" Pete exclaimed suddenly.

"What?" Cynthia asked inquiringly.

" Look ahead of you!" he instructed her, pointing forward. Cynthia was filled with amazement.

Professor Wilson put his car to a halt suddenly at the sight of the clowns on the road. If he didn't act fast, he would have knocked Henry down.

"Wh--what's happening?" he stammered in bewilderment as he began to step down from the car. He was the only one who saw what the boys were actually chasing after-the book of power.

Everyone was laughing. It was great amusement that Henry and his friends could publicly play with a balloon.

Henry jumped at the book and the balloon got ruptured. He landed on his stomach and the book of power escaped. The two Teds went straight for the book, leaving Henry behind.
Henry rose to his feet and kept up with the pursuit.

Somehow, Doctor Mrs. Walter came around too. She wasn't very shocked when she saw them chasing after nothing since she had thought them abnormal before. She hadn't seen the balloon before it got ruptured.

"They are running amuck!" she screamed. "Somebody should please catch them before they catch somebody!"

At her words, some hefty boys and girls volunteered to get them caught, since they now believed that the boys were mad indeed. If only the balloon hadn't burst, they would have taken them for some clowns.

Henry and the Teds were still not conscious of their environment. They would not stop chasing. The younger Ted gripped the book but it escaped its grip and turned backward towards Henry. The older Ted stooped to pick up an iron rod he found on the floor. He would strike the book down with it.

Just then, the book dribbled past Ted's rod and rested on Henry's head. Reflexively, the older Ted brought his rod down on Henry's head; the book had left the head just half a second earlier.
Henry fell down and fainted.
Just then, they were all caught.

In a jiff, some medical practitioners were around to have Henry taken to the hospital on a stretcher. Doctor Mrs Walter came close. Seemed she had some words of advice for the nurses.

"Psychiatric hospital is the right place for them all!" she spoke on top of her voice. "I have told them that before."

When the older Ted heard that, he screamed on top of his voice:

"Please let me go free! I'm alright!"

"You are not!" Mrs. Walter yelled at him. She faced the crowd and said, "You would need to see the dangerous exercise they were doing last month when lecture was on in their lecture rooms. Take them all to the psychiatrists!"

The younger Ted wouldn't mind using his gyrusic power on them. However, he asked the older Ted first, " Ted, why can't we cast a spell on them all?"

"It's not the right time," the older Ted whispered. They released themselves to the people leading them away.

The onlookers took their speeches for utterances made by the mentally deranged.

Cynthia walked close to Susie. She found her trembling and sobbing at a corner.

"Hi young lady," she said to Susie in a mocking manner. Susie didn't give a response. She touched her shoulder and whispered, "Henry's abnormal, don't you know? I'll advise you get yourself another lover; a sportsman to be specific, just like Pete."

"Get yourself out of this, huh," Susie replied angrily. She hated hearing about Pete, the biggest coward she had ever come across.

"Okay, I'll back off," she said and turned around. Pete was already walking away in impatience. She had to scream to call him but when he wouldn't halt, she rushed to catch up with him.

At Doctor Mrs Walters advice, the three boys were taken to the psychiatric hospital to have them tested. They placed the Teds on sedatives so they could get them to rest. They all lost consciousness in different hospital wards.

** *** **** ***** ****** ******* ******** ********

Harrison stood in front of the mirror. He had finally agreed to try checking them out in his mirror again. If only he had tried few minutes earlier, he would have seen them running after the book of power.

Harrison was shocked when he saw them lying lifelessly on beds in different wards, their eyes closed. If only they hadn't seen some nurses walking around they would have thought they were pretending.

"We made it!" Lucy shouted and jumped on Harrison.

" Hey!" Harrison shouted and disentangled at once. "Get those hands off me!"

"Why?" she was shocked at the manner he resisted her even after he had confirmed their death. "Ain't you going to fulfill your promise anymore? Marry me!"

Harrison forced a smile out of the corner of his lips and said, "I didn't mean to shout at you Lucy. Surely, the wedding shall come up today, before dusk, but we have to prepare a little bit more."

" My lord, what more preparation do we need again! I have the wedding rings here, so let's do it right now."

"It's against culture that you provide the ring," Harrison said pretentiously. "I'll sure come with the rings; you just go home and prepare your home for the wedding, you know culturally wedding should be done in the bride's place."

Mrs. Ross nodded. She had absorbed Harrison's explanation.

"I'll go home right away sir Harrison," she said eagerly. "Please come around quick my lord; can't wait to change my status of widowhood."

" Just go now; I'll come join you before dusk," Harrison lied.

"A promise?" she asked.

" Yes, a promise."

"You'll revolutionize my world," she said as she left the house.

Harrison was glad she had left. He stared at the mirror again and saw them still lying dead on the beds. A nurse and a doctor got into Henry's ward and felt his pulse. The doctor grimaced.

"What sir?" asked the nurse.

" He's still unconscious," the doctor replied.

Harrison laughed.

"At last no one would challenge me in gyrus," he sighed. "You're all forever gone!"

Harrison kept the mirror and went for his book. The cover page of the book had the title The Book of Power by Morgan Fox. Harrison hurriedly flipped to a page in the book where there was a picture. It was a ring. Harrison tapped the 2d object drawn in the book and it transformed into a 3d object--a real ring. The ring dazzled like diamond.

Harrison collected the ring from the book and went for a ring case. He stuck the ring in the hollow in the ring case and closed it up.

"This should make a perfect wedding," he said and released a long-lasting throaty laughter.

CHAPTER EIGHT

ESCAPE FROM THE HOSPITAL

Henry suddenly woke up.

"My book! My book!" he screamed out of comatose, then a pang rang on his forehead. The pain seemed unbearable. He touched his swollen head and said, "Oh, what's this?" Seemed he had forgotten the cause of his predicament.

Henry had to wait few moments before he was able to recollect the cause of his predicament.

"Oh, Ted hit me on the head with that..."

He paused as he had a shake at the door. Henry fastened his eyes together as though he was still unconscious. A female nurse got in.

"I thought I heard a voice in here," she said. She had to walk out when Henry remained motionless on the bed.

Henry stared at his watch and said, "Wow! it's just an hour left for gyrus."

*** *** *** **** ******** ************

Harrison stepped into Mrs. Ross' lounge, dressed up in a new black velvety suit. He had a pair of white gloves on his hands. He was exactly dressed like a bridegroom who was ready to take up his bride. As a matter of fact, Harrison wasn't ready a bit to take Lucy's hands in marriage. He feared her greatly.

Harrison wouldn't be careless to let her murder him like she did to her first husband many years back. He had thought of a plan. He would have to get rid of her before she would get rid of him.

When Mrs. Ross saw him, she rushed to hug him but he refrained hastily.

"Don't touch me yet," he said. "Wait until you have the wedding ring on your finger."

Mrs Ross halted and put out her ring finger. Harrison drew close and smiled.

"We should have gotten a priest to bless this wedding for us," he said.

" A priest?" she asked in amazement.

"Yeah, a gyrus priest would do," Harrison replied. "Probably Pastor George."

Pastor George was a famous clergyman whose source of power was solely from gyrus. He had the largest number of congregation in Georgia where he was based. Pastor George and Evangelist Robinson hadn't for once ceased having controversies with each other. Pastor George had even predicted Robinson's death day and was eagerly waiting to see it happen.

Mrs Ross heaved a sigh of relieve.

"I thought you wanted to say Evangelist Robinson," she said.

Harrison hated hearing his name, someone who had escaped dreaming Raul Paul's inevitable dream. He wondered which planet he was drawing his own power from.

Just when the ring entered her finger, she smiled and said, "Great! I shall now be free from the burden of widowhood..." she was still on the word 'hood' when she turned into a wooden image-an effigy.

"Ha! ha! ha!" Harrison laughed as he hit the ugly effigy of Mrs Ross with his fist. He was the sole soul who felt the painful impact.

"Ouch!" he yelled as he leered angrily at the wooden effigy. It seemed very ugly to him. He was soon absent-minded as he cast his mind back to something that had happened in the past...

...Harrison woke up from his trance. It was already time for a gyrus meeting. He zoomed off to gyrus.
Harrison knew the weakpoint of the gyrus magistrate. He was too tender hearted and easily swayed. He still wondered how Patrick Rutherford was able to assume the position of a magistrate.

Harrison kept quiet and allowed gyrus proceedings go uninterrupted. He was waiting for an opportunity to make himself noticed
again.

Harrison soon appeared in everybody's mirror.

"I have something to say," he said.

" Something to say?" said Rutherford. "Come over, say it."

Harrison dashed to the podium in a picosecond. At his sight, the magistrate remembered the judgment he had pronounced on him earlier.

"Harrison, what do you have to say? Have you repaired the gadget?" said Rutherford.

"No sir," Harrison said, putting up a gloomy face.

"And what are you up here to say without repairing our gadget?"

"Sir, a sad story....a sad story," Harrison began to sniff like a baby. The heart of the magistrate began to soften towards him.

"Tell your story, Harrison tell it!" Rutherford said.

"It's an elegy sir...for the memory of the dead." Harrison burst out weeeping uncontrollably--he was shedding false tears.

"Harrison, who died?" the magistrate asked.

"My three good friends; the two greatest gyrus liars and a gyrus soldier friend," he concluded.

"What!" the magistrate said in shock. "Is it true that Henry and the two Teds are dead?"

The planet went silent. Professor Wilson was shocked when he heard that, but something in him was asking him to keep quiet still. He remembered that the last time he checked on them in the psychiatric hospital, they were all lying unconscious but not dead. Maybe Harrison had taken their unconsciousness for death, the dean thought.

If Harrison knew that the three boys made the meeting, he wouldn't have tried anything silly. The boys waited to hear what Harrison had made up this time. They all kept quiet after urging the people sitting close to them to keep quiet and watch too.

"Henry Ghost," Dolly said with her usual wide grin and poked Henry.

" Ssh!" Henry sounded to keep her quiet. She frowned and hit Henry's back with her soft fist and said, "I thought your Gee would mean Ghost, you dead fellow."

Harrison cleared his throat and said, "Dear citizens, I regret to announce to you that the three friends Henry White and the Ted Manuel's are dead; while they were alive we didn't cease struggling with one another, but believe me, the struggle is inevitable: I, the defender of truth, and they, the defender of lies."

"Tell us what happened. How did they die?" the magistrate asked.

"They were murdered," Harrison said and wiped some tears off his face with a brown napkin.

"By whom?" Rutherford asked.

"Mrs Ross, Lucy Fred by name. She murdered them in cold blood."

Impatiently, the magistrate ordered Lucy to step out. Nobody stepped out, but then, an empty seat began to fly in the air towards the podium. The chair landed before the magistrate's feet.

"Why chair?" he was amazed.

"Because the owner is dead," said Harrison.

"Dead? how?" Rutherford asked.

"The late gyrus liars killed her," he said.

The magistrate wanted to get it clear. He asked, "Do you mean they murdered one another?"

" Exactly yes sir," he lied. "Lucy Fred gave Ted Manuel a cream of death such that the three boys could use it and die. They used it and when they were dying, they sent a poison into Mrs Ross' system and she also froze to death."

" How did you know this?" Patrick Rutherford asked gullibly.

"I was called upon by the three friends at their dying moments; they said they were ready to reconcile with the truth which I represent. They asked for my forgiveness and I forgave them. Just when they would pass on, Henry sent an arrow to her in his last words. I was inquisitive to know it all so I decided to go see Lucy. I met her freezing."

Harrison paused to swallow his spittle and to give the credulous man a secret glance. He was glad when he perceived the man was gulping down his lies...

Dedicated to kingphilip...

The magistrate cleared his throat.
"Ahem!" he sounded. "You've heard it all gyrusers, our greatest liars are dead!"

"They can go to hell!" the gyrusers yelled. They didn't care.

Harrison coughed as he began the elegy for the deceased:

"Henry, a legend on earth; a legend in gyrus. Though never a friend, yet a genius. He conquered the rivers; he conquered the seas but when death came, he couldn't survive. His right hand man Ted, his left hand man Ted, together they depart for a journey untold..."

Henry didn't just believe he was listening to his own elegy. An elegy sung for the living was an irony to him.

Dolly nudged Henry. When he looked at her she said, smiling, "You guys at something funny again, huh."

"Not us as you can see, it's Harrison."

Henry was expecting her to ask for details but she wouldn't. It was her nature. Earlier, Henry thought he was the most tacit, but when he met Dolly he regarded himself as garrulous. Though Dolly could pull one's legs to make one speak, herself wouldn't make more than just a little speech. Sometimes she would leave her sentences incomplete, expecting her audience to complete them.

Henry was uncomfortable at the faces staring indignantly at him. They were looking as though they had seen a ghost. The Teds were also experiencing the same thing. People around them were just wondering.

The magistrate had called upon the gyrus carpenter, Rizvan Ghajini, an Hindustan. Rizvan was the gyruser who made the latest improvements to all the seats in gyrus, adding mobility to their functions.

Rizvan knew all the seats by name. He was on the podium so he could order out the supposed empty seats of the deceased.

Dolly suddenly placed a hand over her mouth and howled in shock. Henry was surprised. He has been absentminded all the while, busy looking critically at her white natural hair which had seemed to him mermaidlike. He was already considering her for a replacement for Susie, with the thought that after the 'mad chase saga' on the campus, no girl on earth would be ready to begin a relationship with him.

To him, he wasn't sure if Dolly was also from earth or from another planet and she hadn't for once disclosed her identity even when he had disclosed a little of himself to her.

"Dolly, what?" Henry asked. Dolly was just laughing. Henry didn't know what she was laughing at, but when he discovered there was now about a fifty degree angle of elevation between them he knew what she meant. It was either Dolly was moving away from him or he was the one moving away from her.

Henry discovered his seat was up in the air. Two other seats were up too--the younger and the older Ted's seats. Rizvan Ghajini the gyrus carpenter had called out the names of their seats so that he could refurbish them for new comers to come in the future.

When the seats landed on the podium with the boys seated on them like some important 'chairmen' Harrison was shocked.

"Y-you are still alive?" Harrison stammered at their sights.

"You wanted us dead, isn't it?" the three boys spoke all at once.

The magistrate looked too confused. The dean smiled where he was. Harrison was short of words at the moment.

"Harrison, but you said they are dead!" the man asked in confusion.

" I saw them fall dead," he said with a defeated tone. Beads of perspiration had begun to jet out of his forehead.

Harrison wept publicly. Then he began to move close to the boys. They were wary of his advances. Suddenly Harrison grabbed the younger Ted and gave him a very tight hug.

"I'm glad you're alive! I'm glad you're alive!" Harrison cried out.

The younger Ted was angry. He gave him a kick on the stomach and he fell flat.

"What have you done, Ted?" the magistrate yelled at him.

"He's a liar!" the younger Ted screamed.

"Shut up!" Rutherford shouted at him. "Despite what Harrison have done to you, you are paying him back with this?"

"He wanted us dead!" the boys cried out but the magistrate disbelieved. Harrison's words had sunken down into his brain.

Harrison was a genius in lies. He could tell it better than anyone, yet people thought of him as a 'holy' citizen. The way Harrison did pronounce his words would even get a psychologist convinced. He knew how to shed tears when he needed to.

story continuation...

When Henry saw how the gyrusers were digesting Harrison's lies, he remembered Grandwala's words again; magicians believe lies.

"Now, I need one of you guys to tell me your own part of the story," Patrick said. The younger Ted was the first to speak. Henry didn't want him to do that because he could leak some secrets, but he paid no attention.

"Lucy Fred was my class teacher," said the younger Ted. "She was compromised by this evil genius called Harrison," the younger Ted pointed belligerently at Harrison.

"Speak on," the magistrate commanded.

"Harrison sent a cream of death through her to me so that when I've used the cream I'll dry up dead."

Patrick Rutherford smirked. Ted's truth was sounding like a lie. He had a lot of questions for the boy.

" I'll ask you how you knew that Harrison sent a cream through her," Patrick said.

" She gave me the cream!" the younger Ted replied. "She said I should share it with my friends."

"How do you know it was Harrison who gave it to her?" he asked. When Ted would talk, Henry and the older Ted tapped him. They didn't want him to reveal a secret. They knew the younger Ted would stupidly begin to reveal the secrets in the book of power they were possessing.

"Let me speak," the younger Ted pulled himself away from them and stepped forward, a way off from them.

"Let him speak!" the magistrate said. "So how do you know?"

"We spied at them secretly through our mirrors and saw them in the plot." If the younger Ted knew that the gyrusers had no ability to spy at other gyrus citizens secretly through the mirror, he wouldn't have uttered the speech. When he heard everyone laughing, he knew that he was already in for something big.

"Ha! ha! ha!" Patrick Rutherford laughed. "You can't spy at a fellow citizen."

"We can," the younger Ted uttered.

"If you were born before the thirteenth century then it could be possible.Spying at a fellow gyrus citizen was deactivated many years back by Morgan Fox the author of the magic book of power. Although he had many copies of the books sold, yet only two of them were the original, which, according to him, would be possessed by two powerful gyrus citizens to emerge many years after his death. It is only those two books of power that would have a complete feature."

"Henry has it!" said Ted ecstatically, now facing Henry. He wanted him to come forward to corroborate his speech. The gyrusers were entertained once again. They wouldn't see any sense in believing that Henry had the book in question.

" Henry, is this true?" Rutherford was filled with hilarity.

"No," the older Ted spoke on his behalf.

The younger Ted was disappointed. He walked close to his friends and whispered," Ted, what's the point in denying?" Ted gave him a scornful look. Henry wasn't even looking at him at all.

"So, what's the real story bigger Ted," said Rutherford. "No clowning intended please."

The older Ted didn't speak. What was the point in speaking when the younger Ted had already ruined the day for them? he thought.
