Cuche: Obiano is always saying this administration has done this or done that. He often says We have done this and done that.
Please was he the same as Peter Obi? are they conjoined in anyway over the past?

Isnt it obvious he is just a stooge of Peter Adaobi
Re: Anambra Governship Debate Is Holding Today At Awka House by Cuche: 3:36pm On Oct 31, 2013
At Awka, you must provide 500- 700 to swim in any of the hotels around. No alternative like Stadia or sports complex where one can pay 100- 200. The same goes for Onitsha.
And somebody is telling me we had a government in Anambra for 8 years.
Peter Obi Onye-Oshi always looking out for substandard structures and where he will "save" or steal money for the future of "our" or his children.
His Onitsha township Stadium is a joke.

FreeGlobe:
why do you expect him to respond to a petty jab. Every Anambra person knows obiano is a liar.I wont oblige you to name the roads. Google 'Ngige flags off road construction' and cure your ignorance.
Also Google ' Ngige commissioned roads'

Cuche: @obayaya
You don't believe me when I say Obi is a Thief. If you know the amount of money that came into Anambra these 8 yrs. The money to fix some of these things are. You easily believed Obi that there were no money.

Onitsha stadium. That thing is a play ground. It is not even a mini sports complex. where are the in door halls, no swimming pools, lawn tennis, where are the gyms, that place is a joke .
Erosion. My mum is from one of the villages you mentioned. The only time meaningful work was done on that erosion site was in 2005 but it was uncompleted. I was there this year and last year the erosion is getting wider and deeper. There is no serious work there.
Primary Health. Obi did absolutely nothing in that sector. You don't seem to understand the meaning of PH, Amaku and Onitsha are at Secondary level. Amaku does not qualify as Tertiary health facility except to Mr Obi perhaps.
AHOCOL was supposed to build low housing estate for the people. It was Ezeife's idea . it has been dormant as far as Obi's tenure is concerned. Most of the housing estates in Awka are private/individual drive the average civil servant can't afford allocation in those places.
Islamic loan, I know it is interest free but it is not dash, it must be repaid. What has he do with the loan? He doesn't even agree he has taken loan, he had always hinged his lackluster performance on not taking any loan. Anambra is indebted to the tune of N70billion( I agree it is among the least in the federation ) it is must be repaid.

I like your argument but my point is this, compared to his predecessors and other government in the same revenue bracket, he has done well.

There's room for improvement. yes!!! but we shouldn't lose sight of his good deeds.

now to the election and the candidates. I belong to the school of thought that believes that technocrat are better leaders.

Uba is out of the equation. Ngige can argue he's a medical doctor but he has always been a politician.

the lil achievements he had in his 3 years as governor I believe was a move to garner popularity and support in the face of the intimidation from the Uba Family.

but then those achievements were dwarfed by Peter Obi's

now this is what pisses me off about you guys.. the name calling

there's a hotel in Onitsha that you can swim in for 200 and am sure there's one in awka Too. but you wouldn't wanna swim there because it won't be interesting.

even akwa ibom do not have this alternative you are talking about.

there are more important things the state government should provide before "swimming pool" Haba!!!

I am only expressing my dissatisfaction at that Onitsha stadium, some people call it achievement. Swimming pools are part of sports complex, aren't they?

The Swimming pool stuff is just a passing comment anyway

PPN says he wants to lead Ndi Anambra back to God....I ask is it by conducting a massive crusade?

Religion is the opium of the masses

Tell us what you will do....without the resort to Godism jare!

It seems to me that Orient Refinery is the soon-to-be cash cow of Anambra state hence almost all the candidates are eyeing it

MPPP candidate just said he went on a visit and had to wait for a bus for almost 1hr. He was trying to underscore the seemingly bad transportation system but I ask silently 'doesn't he have a car'?

Whoever that would tinker a state and his resources should be above some measure of necessity

9inches:

I keep saying one should cut his coat according to his/her size. The least civil servant in Anambra state earns at least #18200 and Anambra was among the first to implement that. I'm sure u heard Ngige say it. So what else is minimum wage..? The issue is that even those on grade level 17 want increment and I ask for what, when about two-third of the state's resources is spent on recurring expenditures such as paying salaries. Even if other states pay whatever across board as they want, can't Anambra workers take it as part of their contribution to the visible change we are seeing... For me, that's insensitivity on the workers' part.
so you don't know the meaning of minimum wage just like APGA candidate.

Re: Anambra Governship Debate Is Holding Today At Awka House by Nobody: 4:34pm On Oct 31, 2013
A fantastic raw fact from Ifeanyi Ubah

Anambra is not a deep coastal state hence deep bottom vessel can not sail in or out hence the crude may not be exportable in the near future

So a refinery is the short term solution which can service the whole of south east alongside Imo's oil
