jossypius:1. To publish on createspace, go to createspace and search for book interior templates (Ms word). Download the size that is applicable to your book then paste your content in it. The tricky part is numbering the pages but Google can help. 2. I think if you publish to createspace through D2D, they will do the formatting for you but you may still have to design the cover. However, they will take 15% of your income. 3. Find someone to teach you Corel draw. It is easier and faster to learn than Photoshop. Any business center or small computer school in your area will do. Then you can make all your covers easily. 4. For niche or keyword research, check my post around page 9 to 11 of this thread. 3 Likes |

Nigeria doesn't have a tax treaty with the US. So even with the EIN, you would still be charged 30%. bros1234: 1 Like |

einsteine: I just got to find this out from MK8 email. It is well. We'll continue to look for a way out. Maybe use someone who is resident in the USA |

shakol91:i dont understand why you have to quote me without answering my question seeing that i didnt ask you in the first place. now if you really think my question is daft then i would have to dig out the plethora of "silly" questions you asked on this thread. again no question is dumb if the bolded does not hold sway, why did mk82 tendered perfectly even those supposedly silly question people have asked him on this thread. again, i may be wrong in setting you straight because you might be a minor interacting behind a faceless forum.thanks i maybe totally wrong if i misinterpreted you. |

I am new to Amazon self publishing and I have a few questions. 1. Do you know where I can get a reliable book editor and cover designer for my book . Can you also give me the price range 2. What format should I use when uploading my book |
Re: Making Regular Income Publishing Amazon Kindle Ebooks by Immorttal: 10:37pm On Oct 06, 2016 |
RealJaneDoe:yo can source for a book cover designer on fiver. they normally charge from 5- 20dollars. and it depends on the designer.you can choose to do your own cover too if you are well drenched on microsoft word or corel draw. google it, there are tons of material on the web and youtube to guide you through.as for the format, i use word 97-2003 template when saving the final file. if you have any other question am available. |

Re: Making Regular Income Publishing Amazon Kindle Ebooks by mk82(m): 4:04am On Oct 09, 2016 |
jossypius:1, Createspace is free at every stage. When you get to the proofing stage, choose digital proof. 2. Use the same Payoneer bank details. Hint: use the same email and password and names on your kindle account. This makes it easier for them to link the kindle and createspace copies of your books on Amazon. 3 Likes |

One last thing though, it us possible to have a kindle copy of a book and enroll it on Kdp select and then have another copy in createspace? Will it offend Amazon Kdp rules that when a book is uploaded in Kdp select it must be on any online store. Thank you again for always helping out? |

If your book is in Kdp select, you can publish it on createspace and other paperback publishing companies. You are not allowed to publish it on other eBook publishing platforms. |

bros1234: Hello bros1234, first of, congrats on your figures, its inspiring. So I would like to ask, did you meet the op mk82 for his one on one training offline because you just started and making such figures already. Also, do you do any external marketing/paid ads for your books to get more downloads during promo days. What's the average number of pages you make your book to be in kindle pages and how do you do your keyword research to suit your book and rank properly so as to get more organic sales. In plain English, how really do you rank your books so potential buyers can see them and make purchases. Thanks for your anticipated response. |
Re: Making Regular Income Publishing Amazon Kindle Ebooks by mk82(m): 10:37am On Oct 14, 2016 |
AncientTimes:Amazon best sellers rank of 150,000 or 200,000 is not very profitable but also not so bad. There are almost 5 million books on Kindle Store so 150,000 or 200,000 is not so bad nowadays. However, if you want books that will really sell well, look for keywords with a good number of books with Amazon best sellers rank of below 100,000. |

justify106: 1. Thanks for the compliments. 2. Not yet. I have not met with the OP for one -on-one training. But I wrote him a mail and he gave me some very valuable advise. Really valuable advice. The OP is really out to help us. His advise is worth much more than many books I have read on this business. He even gave me cover ideas. I'm really grateful and would remain grateful for his help, and please note @MK82, I will keep needing your help. 3. No. I dont do any external promo for now. May start that later in the process. 4. I have books that 60 pages. Some 190. some 200 + pages. I have just learned that the higher the number of pages the more value oyibo tend to think they'll get from it. 5. For now, I am writing on my passions and core call I have for my life. But I will soon branch out. I have learnt to just look for books that are selling and write on them. I have books that are not selling at all and ones that sell one-two-three daily. I hope I helped. God's blessings. |
