Don't report it to the bank. There're lot of crooks in there. Don't spend it either. Just leave the money in your account, I believe the owner will trace it to your account sometime soon. 1 Like |

oga mi, no listen to the learner who said you should go and complain at the bank. people complain when they are not happy with bank services Abi your not happy with 800k alert. the smart thing to do is Leave it in your account, speak to a lawyer about the legal aspect of what happens if after some times, you decide to 'borrow' the money. can they force it out of you? and lastly, in the end you'll need to grow some balls/liver if your lawyer tells you the money is almost as good as yours. For me o! if they mistakenly send me money, i will mistakenly withdraw it, and mistakenly spend it. daz all ! 8 Likes |

Just speak to the bank, and make sure the money gets to its rightful owner...if d bank doesn't reward u,sue them for making u over-excited and causing emotional damage...lol! |

Eyop: I will advice you go to your bank and lodge the complain atleast from there they will be able to trace where the money came from(it may have been a wrong posting). Don't be in a hurry to spend someone's money because if you do,you will pay back big time. Gud advice! Mistakes do occure atimes in banks, besides the source must be known only if you don't investigate. Remember, those asking u to spend it may be the ones that will laugh at u in case d matter turned against you after spending. A Word Is Enough For A Wise. 2 Likes |

Is it your money? Are you expecting that amount from any creditor/debtor? Did you instruct anybody managing your financial instruments to dispose it on your behalf? Do you have a relative who could have willed it to you? If the answer is No, then: Report to the bank. We are a reflection of the change we want from your leaders. 12 Likes |

Please go to your bank and tell them for you may just be saving somebody's job. The truth is that the money was wrongly posted into your account and because it is a deposit, the TELLER balanced. However the real owner of the money may come any time from now and yawa go gas. Or the depositor made a mistake in the account number he wrote and the TELLER did not reconcile the number with the account name. Whichever is the case just go back to your bank. Unless you are fraudulent or has such record and your bank is trying to trap you. But if you are one of the honest Nigerians that want the best for a dear country, just alert your bank. You will be better off for it. Thank you. 6 Likes |

Kindly inform your local branch. Please don't tamper with the money as they will eventually find out and the consequence might be a big blow on you. If you know very well about database systems transaction you will know that it always preserves integrity and when the payer lodges complaint, they will trace the transaction. 3 Likes |

Go to the nearest branch of that bank and tell them about it. They can very easily trace where it came from. It's probably a wrong posting and the staff that comited that blunder stands a good chance of losing his job if u make away with that money. You will also be in trouble if u are caught in the process of trying to withdraw the money. Let your conscience direct you. If you can't go to the bank, call your account officer and inforrm him/her. God bless you. 2 Likes |

If you withdraw the money without proper investigation, I can assure you that you will be prosecuted for fraudulent withdrawal cos its a punishable offense. Just go to the bank & make necessary confirmation of the deposit into your acct. 1 Like |

It is obviously a wrong posting. I will advice you to inform your bank of the situation so that they can sort it out. Spending the cash will do you no good cos they will trace it to your a/c and you will be eventually contacted to pay back. 1 Like |
