The UK government has decided to scrap the 3000 pound bond scheme which was to take effect this month. The scheme which was first proposed by the Vice Prime Minister is being scrapped after he threatened to block it. His initial proposal was a 1000 pound bond for visitors who had been turned down a visa. Sadly the conservatives exploited the plan to include everyone in "high risk regions" with an exaggerated amount.

The move for a 3000 pound bond received plenty of protest from India. The British are still looking for ways to exploit their formal colonies 50 to 60 years after their independence. How do you explain the idea behind putting down an outrageous 3000 pounds just to visit the UK. I would not put that much even for a trip to the moon..lol
