Your sexuality can never define you, if you choose to allow it define you then you become a slave to it, people who willingly classify themselves as ''gay'' are enslaving themselves to their sexual natures. Yes, you find yourself attracted to same sex, So? Its a habit, get over it. People have different urges, to steal, to kill, to have sex anywhere and everywhere, to embezzle, to backstab etc, but we don't all give in to these urges, sometimes because of society morals.

Meanwhile which of the Gods you guys referring to? The average Nigerian is born into a Christian or Muslim home, the average Indian is born into a Hindu (or whatever) home, the average Chinese is born into another religion (or is an atheist from the get go). We all grow up practising same religion we were born into.

The average Isreali is born into a Jewish family, and doesn't worship Jesus the way Christians would.

In ALL of these settings, gay people abound, with each one following the religion that they were born into.

Heck, I remember an Indian gay guy asking me why he was born gay, while another Nigerian gay would be asking himself why the Christian God made him gay.


I guess same question from gay people across different continents with different religious belief has made me to as this question.

I understood that the Bible viewed homosexuality as sin, but concluded that a real god would have understood the causes of homosexuality and would not have condemned what came natural to these people. He would have known that it wasn’t a choice, but rather an integral part of their essence. Such a god would not have condemned these people or their activity. The Bible’s condemnation of homosexuality reveals its man-made origins.

The worst part is when I see feminine gay guys struggling with themselves. These people have done EVERYTHING, and would do just about anything to be a normal MAN! But no, the effeminate nature is just too engrossed in their bone. They suffer through depression and curses from even friends and other people, and try everything they can to be a "man" on the street.

I see such guys and I just don't know what to think.

av not really gone through the thread but i just want to.make my contribution..... ...i stopped being a christian when i accepted the fact that am gay and am born dat way.....after many prayers, fasting, blah blah blah den i realised dat i was just deceiving maself.....if truly God exists then he should know i never chose to be gay.... i fought it so hard, it had cost me so much thinking the so called creator labelled me(who he created) an abomination.....i dont want to lead dat kinda life anymore......i want to be happy, love and be loved......
