The 2nd goal was Kwambe(the right back)'s fault.But d 1st wasnt caused by a fullback.It was caused by Egwueke.
But im satisfied with francis,Kwambe was kinda poor.But they are home-based,inexperienced and arent really exposed.More games like dis would go a long way.
If there is any good right-back out there,he should replace kwambe,becos our 1st choice right-back(ambrose) isnt any better.
I think Francis is a quality back-up for echiejile.

otokx: We need more friendlies and also to get replacement for every position, right now mikel and onazi seem irreplaceable.

nosa igiebor played a while ago and did well. ogu is also good. fomr the bench, he nearly scored a header and took a nice shot that the italian keeper(sirigu) deflected

We didnt play badly in the second half. We were only a bit more pressurised than we did to Italy.

My take from today's match - giving Iheanacho from the U-17 a try in subsequent friendly matches won't hurt. He has a perfect touch on the ball and might be d playmaker we seek. Once he clicks with Onazi/ Mikel going forward... We should be almost good to go. Finally, we need good subs for ambrose and echiejile...... Overall, we don't have a terrible team

All those wey dey lambast Mikel...REST. He was poor today but how many other times has he not held up the team. He is one of our chief playmakers...no one can always have a good day. The boys did well...outplayed by Italy but this is a friendly and a test and I was impressed. VERY VERY GOOD GAME.

People always blaming Musa even when the guy does his best. He was so lively as a sub but IDEYE also as a sub did not even touch the ball.

imagine nigerian premier league defenders against the likes of balotelli, rossi. If you look at it that way, you will congratulate our defenders though more needs to be done.

Yeah, totally loved that too. Mikel needs to understand that his quick passing game is much better than his hold-up play. He is easily dispossed of the ball when he does that.

borie4u: my analysis of the game is that;
1. Our defence is terrible.use this kind of defence in Rio and u will be sent packing in group stage.
2.Mikel needs to step up his game and strike a good partnership with Onazi. Maybe use mikel as a central back rather than the traditional playmaker.
3.We need sound technical team who could read the game and make corrections on field of play as well as the subs.
4.Someone like Musa should hit the bench and not be a regular until he step up his game and maturely too.
5.All in all we need a game changer.someone who could come into the game with much Pace and strenght like Emenike. Infact we need a good supporting striker[font=Lucida Sans Unicode][/font]

thoroughly enjoyed that game...thrilling from start to finish, you could tell from the way both managers greeted themselves at the end that they left with a lot of mutual respect for each other..
