I was watching a foreign (hollywood actually; just saying no offence) movie where a teenage kid misbehaved badly and got punished 4 it. Later, the parent called the child, sat him down and advised the kid for 5mins (I doubt it reached 5 though)
It got me wandering my parents took nothing less than 1hr! Advising me on my wrongs. Please can anyone tell me why and do u advise 4 long if u do have u found out if it makes any diff on the advisee's life?

My dear fabulouso ( I hope I got d name correct) if u like take ten yrs to correct a child on a wrong it will not change anyting onless d child wants to change. Yes naija kids can be hot headed but were u tink dem get am 4rm? No be us wei de take koboko beating 4 correction d nxt tin we de chant ode-shi waka commot d next wrong we do we say pata pata na flog dem go flog us. And hardships also has a lot to play in d normal childs level of correction . If u no believe me check d botis dat live in v.g.c n d likes.

4get we r in nigeria were we talk longer n louder dan necessary but I tune off wen u hit d point ontime be4 diverting to oda areas ( its exhausting) but wen there's koboko nonetheless it only results in hot headedness like pata pata no be to flog me dem go do.
