some yrs back in Jos,i know of some people whom fire gutted their shops along Ahmadu-Bello way Jos and some of them happened to have insured their shops against fire and theft with NICON insurance but up till this moment,after about 5yrs they are yet to be paid their claims!isnt it double tragedy that victims often have to go to court with their insurance companies in other for claims to be paid.If a big insurance company like NICON insurance will stoop so low as to short changing their clients when they needed them most,how else will you expect the ordinary trader in the street whom may ve seen his colleague going to court with an insurance company for un-paid claims,ever be willing to insure his properties.National insurance commission(NAICON) must look into this big fraud called insurance in Nigeria...i wldnt also want to go into the big (ponzi)scam called vehicle insurance in Nigeria,which we all are forced to carry out during yearly vehicle licensing agreement.
