While Nigeria is reputed as one of the poorest countries in the world, it is no lie that a few of its highly privileged citizens are among some of the richest in the world. These few can afford to buy whatever luxurious possession no matter how expensive. From private jets, exclusive islands, exotic wines and champagnes, limited edition gold plated or diamond encrusted gadgets and customized cars, whatever you it is you can think of, a Nigerian has got it.

And it doesn’t matter who they are… politicians, billionaire business moguls, former army general, pastor, musician or a high class babe, these Nigerians always flaunt their possessions.

Recently, Senator Ali Sherriff , the Atlanta Georgia based former Borno State Governor and chairman Board of Trustees of the newly formed All Progressives Congress, (APC) toppled Bishop David Oyedepo as the owner of the largest fleet of private jets in Nigeria with the acquisition of a new Gulfstream G650 model jet valued at N11.5 billion which is the most expensive private jet owned in Nigeria.

Experts describe the plane as arguably the fastest civilian jet in the world. With room for a basketball team, 8,000-statute-mile range and some of the most sophisticated avionics. It can be equipped with a full kitchen and bar and may be equipped with a variety of entertainment features including satellite phones and wireless Internet.
The jet use two Rolls Royce BR725 engines, each producing a maximum thrust of 17,000 pounds-force (75.6 kN). Gulfstream states that with a weight of less than 100,000 pounds (45,360 kg), it is able to land at small airports avoiding the busy airports around the world.
