In regards to the determination of His Excellency Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, CON, The Executive Governor of Delta State, in transforming the Educational Sector in of the State. 
The State Government through his Directorate Of Science and Technology, Asaba distributed computers to public secondary schools in the state. From the information gathered more than 200 complete computer sets, Printer, UPS, Generating set has being distributed.
The distribution exercise which commenced last week Tuesday at the Directorate of Science and Technology’s ICT Centre, in Asaba, one of those in charge of documentation reports that principals and staff of various public schools in the state were at the venue of the distribution to sign their ICT packages for their schools.
A staff of the directorate in- charge of the distribution exercise, who spoke on behalf of the Director of ICT in the ministry on the condition of anonymity, said that over 75 public schools have received their packages.
According to him, the collection was done two local government in one day, stating that all public schools should collect their ICT items on or before November 15.
The Principal of Ovrode Grammar School in Isoko North Local Government Area. Mr. IWeh Jonathan  commended the state government and the Senior Special Adviser (SSA)  in-charge of the directorate Mr. Sunny Ofili, while describing the development as remarkable.
Umukoro, added that by this, the state government has made education really meaningful as schools will start operating.
Other who toke part in the collection excise includes: Dr. Umukoro S.J. Principal Ofagbe Technical College, Ofagbe, Mrs. Ezeh Lois Oghale Higher Executive Officer collected on behalf of the principal Oketa Mixed Grammar School, Ofagbe, all in Isoko North.
