talktimi: Was watching a programme some weeks back on AIT and a man being interviewed said all roads in Israel are constructed and maintained by their "local govts" (ps I never go Israel before) but honestly I see no reason why the fg should bother with roads when its easier for the states to handle and maintain them.
not with the current revenue sharing formula

SLIDE waxie: u be mumu! because u no travel outta ur wretched crib, u tot all roads in the SW belomgs to the feds by sighting the Niger state's case abi?

For your lack of information and education, there is a clear distinction between the states and federal roads in lagos or Ogun state. By default, all federal roads are one-lane stup!d way!

If not for the lagos state govt who dualized or even quadrupled the federal lanes, what road of thiers is to proud of that u're sweating like a christmas goat!

In Ogun state, a standard major road is now 4lanes. The feds started fighting over a road at ijebu ode which the state want to construct to a 4lane. The feds claimed its on their plan. Its been months now, no work on the road even though they only wanna make it double!

Federal roads are the only road they allocate funds for several times and its still not done yet u think its a gain say. God bears me withness that hav lost more than 5 tyre between Ogbere juntion and sagamu interchange to portholes this year because wat u see in the mornin is not wat u will find in the evening. To compound the problem is FERMA, they are just not honest with the federal Govt. I wonder y dey will not die abroad. Sorry, the head of those that died on that road year will not allow him come back home alive except he has not loot the money meant for his portfolio.

You're a five star MOR0N!!!!

A hospital that kept the young lad alive for more than 5 months is classified as non-functional? It's people like you who make the world stand still and wonder how u even were able to find the keyboard on a laptop to comment!

Do your research well on medical illnesses and severe trauma and come back to comment

Tobbie9: not with the current revenue sharing formula
the revenue sharing formula is definitely flawed but we also know most if not all road projects (in this scenario but it also includes all other projects) embarked upon by state govts in Nigeria are highly over inflated price wise so yes i believe even with the present revenue formulae, the states CAN maintain fed roads in their domains.

要想富,先修路。Yao Xiang Fu, Xian Xiu Lu. A Chinese saying, if you wanna be rich, the first thing you should do is to construct roads.

Well,I'm only impressed about the budget, where the capital expenditure is more than re~current expendture (provided the budget is followed to the letters). About the minister's trip abroad, its not suprising; all I know is that their generation (all looters) will not go unpunished by God! Since there is little or nothing we can do about it

Is this not stupidity? What have you done as a sitting governor? All the elected officers are bunch of fools who think they are cheating the masses by not giving them the basic amenities. Shame to you all.
